First-floor den with flat screen HD TV and convertible sofa which
sleeps two people on a comfortable queen mattress.

Note that the pictures and Video were taken before we put the teak furniture on the deck. We have a teak table, 2 teak chairs, 1 teak lounger, 1 teak low chair, and a built in bench.

Beach: We are on a wet beach, which means that at high tide there is usually no beach in front of the house. The tides change about every 6 hours (high to low) and the times change about 30-60 minutes everyday. Even in high tide, you can usually find some sand a few houses up the beach or a short stroll to County Line Beach next door. Almost always during low tide , there is beach/sand in front of the house.

We fell in love with the beach, at the end of Malibu. Close to Los Angeles, yet when you are relaxing on the deck gazing at the sea, you feel miles away from everything. A dream location with breath taking views. It starts from the moment you enter your Malibu getaway, from early morning sunrise, to spectacular sunsets and magical moon beams across the ocean floor at night.
We love to cook and always have wonderful meals on our deck. We enjoy having our good friends and family visit and we celebrate each lovely day of beach activities & memorable evenings together.
Our weekend couldn't be more perfect. From waking up to the sound and view of the pristine Pacific, to sitting on the lovely deck right outside the door, to walking on the private beach just steps away, and back to cook dinner in the full kitchen; this house and location really couldn't be more idyllic. I can't wait to return for another serene and rejuvenating weekend.
This is a wonderful place, both for the location and the home itself. We were here for the 3 day MLK weekend, after the holiday tourist season, and while the PCH was shut down, which was absolute heaven to be able to hear just the powerful ocean. Everything is contemporary, up to date and clean and neat, including the outside walkways and decks. There is a direct walkway to the very private stretch of beach with perfect vantage points to catch County Line beach surfers. LOVE IT!
We can't wait to make this an annual event if not more frequent. I want to keep this place a secret but must give the kudos deserved :)
Great location between Malibu and Oxnard. Myself and my wife enjoyed our vacation and enjoyed every moment we had there. The rental owner was available for questions and gave great information on the local area activities and shopping over the phone and via email. Private beach that is right on the rental. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy cities and a busy schedule. Would definitely rent the place again if me and my wife found overselves headed to the west coast for another visit.

There is not enough room to write the many wonderful things both about this property and the wonderful people managing it. From the instant we stepped onto the property I could see why this place is so special. There is thought put into every detail and it went beyond my expectations.
Firstly the A-frame itself is remarkable. Open, fresh, and thoughtfully designed. The layout is perfect for a romantic getaway for 2, or for a group of people, like I had, without it feeling crowded. Everything you need is there to use (surfboards, sand toys, flipflops, dishes, towels...etc) and the beach is right at your doorstep. The master bed might be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The amazing HEATED outdoor shower was such a treat after coming up from the ocean. The public (and much larger) beach is a stones throw away with amazing surf and beach to swim, lay and watch some amazing surfers. The private beach attached to the property is perfect for strolls, a quick dip, or watching the sunrise/set.
Morrie and his wife were beyond hospitable. They really made us feel welcome and I look forward to staying there again with the hopes of seeing them. I couldn't have asked for a better escape and I am so happy to have met them.
Lastly, I brought my dog along for the weekend, and the property is perfect for a pup that loves the ocean and laying on the patio in the sun. The private beach is great for walks and extremely dog friendly. My dog wouldn't get into the car to leave the day we checked out. I don't blame him, it was hard for me to leave myself.
I cannot say enough amazing things about my stay... and I am already looking to book again, along with some of my friends that joined me.

By all means rent this unit! So cozy and charming and right on the water. Although it sleeps 4, I'd suggest a max of 2 (I was flying solo, with my dog, fwiw).
I brought prepared foods, fresh & frozen, from Trader Joes and still used almost every appliance/amenity in the kitchen, so you're totally covered in that regard. Got take out twice from Neptune's Net; why eat there when I could bring it back to my little nest to enjoy?
At the time of my visit, there was no beach at the unit, just boulders and crashing waves. This did not bother me as being on the water was breathtaking. The deck met my needs for both privacy and sunbathing just fine. Sandy beach was 5 minutes walk but does require a little climbing down to access so wear tennis shoes.
Bring a lot of firewood; you will burn through it quickly and will want to make a fire in the morning as well as the evening.
The unit is not easy to find and cannot be seen from PCH. To improve upon the directions provided by the owners, I would suggest watching for these landmarks: Heading north on PCH, pass Neptune's Net. Get in left lane. On immediate left, where houses start, there is an old Cadillac with a car cover on it. Turn left into the driveway just past the trunk of the car. Pull down the driveway to the end and you have arrived! Also, the unit is directly across PCH from the giant menorah on the hill. Ya can't miss it! So, someday if they move the Cadi - likely never - the menorah should still be there! Enjoy!
