Gunnison River Tree House
Located just west of Gunnison , the Tree House is at the end of the road nestled between the main river and west branch of the Gunnison River. The cedar home boasts 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds, a comfortable fold out couch, and 1 full bath, easily sleeping 6 . Open the many windows and enjoy the sights and sounds of the river on both sides of the island.
With over 1,100 feet of private riverfront, world class fly fishing is at your doorstep, or just relax and watch the water flow by from the balcony or patio. To maintain the excellent trout population at the Tree House limit fishing to catch and release with barbless flies or lures. Live bait and power baits are not allowed. There are over 2000 miles of streams and rivers in Gunnison County. Enjoy water sports and fishing at Blue Mesa Reservoir or fish the Taylor Reservoir and the many area high mountain lakes.
Enjoy all of the restaurants and shopping opportunities in Gunnison or drive the short 28 miles to Crested Butte for even more choices. Mount Crested Butte skiing is 31 miles to the north with free transportation daily on Gunnison Valley RTA. Monarch ski resort is 47 miles to the east.
The Dos Rios 18- hole golf course is just across the road and boasts 17 holes directly on the Gunnison River or Tomichi Creek.

Winter: 11/15 – 03/14 - $200/night
Spring: 03/15 -95/31 - $225/night
Summer: 06/1 – 09/14 - $250/night
One-time Cleaning Fee of $140 plus 8.5% Lodging Tax
Holiday rates apply for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, MLK Day Weekend, Spring Break, President’s Weekend, Christmas, and New Year.
Due to the serene setting and limited parking parties are not suitable.
