Villa Caruso & Villa Sereni are 2 large, modern, 3 bed semi-detached villas on the Eastern bank of Lake Maggiore, with stunning views across the lake. The interiors of both villas have been designed to make the most of the amazing views. Set in a quiet hamlet beside a mountain stream, it's a lovely peaceful location yet still only minutes from local amenities & the lakeside beaches. The villas are also only 3 miles north of the bustling lakeside town of Luino with its wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Less than 5 miles from the Swiss border, the villa also provides easy access to the Swiss towns of Lugano and Locarno. Lake Como is a one hour drive and trains run direct from Luino to Milan in an hour.
Both properties are beautifully furnished & decorated in a modern, contemporary style. Each villa also has a private terrace with BBQ and outdoor seating. The terrace enjoys the sun all day. There are also 3 further balconies per property allowing people plenty of privacy and their own space if travelling as part of a larger group. Both villas are fully equipped with WIFI, Satellite TV, DVD, games machine, BOSE docking station. Nespresso coffee machine.
Each property sleeps 6-8 people. However, the properties can be rented together to accommodate 12-16 guests. A discount is offered for renting both.
Villa Caruso and Villa Sereni are large, modern, contemporary, 3 bedroom villa et over 3 floors. The property is south westerly facing with over 120 m2 of interior living space, 3 large balconies and a teak-decked terrace.
The layout of the 2 properties is almost identical. You enter each property on the ground floor where there is a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This leads out onto a teak decked terrace with stunning lake views. Up one flight of stairs, there are 2 bedrooms - one double bedroom with private balcony with lake view and one twin bedroom with views to the countryside - as well as a modern family bathroom. Up another flight of stairs there is the fantastic master bedroom with kingsize bed. This has a large ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, his and her sinks and jacuzzi bath. There are two balconies on this floor, one with lake views and one with views to the hills.
Each property is fully equipped with all the mod cons guests could wish for including 3 flatscreen TVs, DVD player, BOSE docking station and either Wii or XBOX games console. There is also a brand new Nespresso coffee machine in the property. (Guests are asked to bring their own Nespresso capsules to use during their stay).
We have also gone to great lengths to make the properties family friendly, providing a travel cot, highchair, pushchair and baby monitor all free of charge. There is also a selection of toys, board games and childrens DVDs.
Villa Caruso and Villa Sereni share three parking spaces. Please note: the driveway down to the property is very steep. As a result, if guests prefer, it is possible to park on the main road instead.

Fly to Milan Malpensa:
The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa which is approximately 45 miles drive from the house. Several airlines fly here. Easyjet flies from London Gatwick, Bristol or Edinburgh. Monarch also fly to Malpensa from London Gatwick or you can travel by British Airways from London Heathrow or Flybe from Birmingham and Manchester.
Fly to Milan Linate:
Transfer time from the airport is approximately 120 minutes. Easyjet fly to Linate from London Gatwick and British Airways fly there from London Heathrow.
Fly to Milan Bergamo:
Transfer time from the airport is approximately 120 minutes. Ryanair fly to Milan Bergamo from London Luton, London Stansted, Bristol, Liverpool, Bournemouth, East Midlands and Glasgow. Jet 2 fly to Bergamo from Leeds Bradford and BMI Baby fly from Birmingham.
Car hire is available from all airports - please ask for more details on booking. Alternatively a train service will take you from Milan Central station to Luino in 1-2 hours (depending on time of day). A new service has also been introduced which will take you directly from Milan Malpensa airport to the lakeside.
