This modern conversion has been lovingly restored to create three rental properties in addition to the main house where the owners are in full time residence. There is a large roof terrace with views of the Tramuntana mountains for sole use of the two bedroom apartment. There is a small patio for the Studio with a table and chairs.

A studio with mezzanine level, it is the perfect location for walkers, being based on the walking route to Deia. Honey coloured houses, jagged mountains and turquoise sea. This part of Mallorca, well away from the main tourist areas, will appeal to those looking for a little extra, for a quiet and peaceful relaxing holiday. The town of Soller, of Moorish origin, is famous for the orange and olive groves that abound in the area. It has a main square where the locals gather for their morning coffee and croissants and to watch the world go by. There is a morning market where local produce is sold and a train station from which the famous old rolling stock still rattles its way to Palma and back several times a day. From the station, the electric tram (ex. San Francisco type trolleys) runs through the square, past the market to the Port of Soller, a beautiful, almost circular, well protected bay with safe beaches. From here you can take a boat along the wild, rugged northern coast to sheltered little bays inaccessible by road.

Wir haben zu zweit im Oktober 2009 die Studio-FeWo gemietet. Zuerst die Vorteile: Die Kücke ist für eine FeWo sehr gut ausgestattet, die Dusche ist sehr praktisch, wenn auch das Bad etwas einfach ausgestattet ist (winziges Waschbecken), der Schlafraum und das Bett sind sehr gut, im Sommer vielleicht sehr heiß, weil unter dem Dach. Die Lage im Ort ist sehr gut, im Zentrum ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Kein Lärm von Außen.
Negativ: Kein Sitzplatz außerhalb der FeWo mit Sonne und Blick in die Berge. Nur ein wackeliges Tischchen und zwei kleine Stühle vor der Tür im Innenhof. Es gibt keinen Zugang zur Terasse, die im Angebot steht und dort nicht eindeutig nur der anderen Wohnung zugeordnet ist. Sie ist aber nur von dort aus zugänglich.
Die Wasserversorgung des gesamten Gebäudes läuft über eine laute Pumpe, deren Geräusch bis ins Schlafzimmer dröhnt. Da gibt`s schon mal `ne unruhige Nacht. Tagsüber ist das auch nicht gerade toll.
In den zwei Wochen fand keine Zwischenreinigung statt. Neue Handtücher gab es nur auf Nachfrage nach einer Woche.

Alles in Allem kwinw tolle Wahl. Die andere Fewo wird wohl was Pumpe und Terase angeht besser zu bewerten sein. Die kleine würden wir nicht wieder mieten.

Owner's Response: Vielen Dank für das Feedback.Nur mit der Kritik von unseren Gäste können wir den Standard unserer Ferienobjekte verbessern. Es sei kurz erwähnt, das zu dem Studio tatsächlich nur ein kleiner Aussenbereich gehört, das Apartment bietet eine grosse Dachterrasse; diese kann von den Gästen des Studios benutzt werden, wenn das Apartment zu dem Zeitpunkt leer ist - (im Anzeigentext bereits verbessert)

Bitte fragen Sie stets an, wenn etwas fehlt oder nicht den Wünschen entspricht (mehr Handtücher, Zwischenreinigung, mehr Töpfe, Teller, Tassen, etc.), viele Dinge lassen sich schnell klären!

Die Geräusche der Pumpe sind nun wieder gedämpt. Leider gab es vorübergehend Probleme mit der Quelle.

We have supplied more frying pans now. If the clients had asked when they were here we would have given them some more. Our policy is to fix things that need fixing immediately we are told. If we are not told we cannot fix it!
