We have just recently rented the property from Rosa and we have had a wonderful stay. There were four adults and one child in our party. The property is clean and well equipped. The location is perfect, close to the central station with amenitites within walking distance. Rosa is a most gracious hostess as was Alan. We would highly recommend this space. We look forward to comining back some day. Thank you for making our trip fantastic

Four of us stayed here early November and enjoyed a wonderful stay. The house is very well located and is within a 20 to 30 minute walk of most places.
There is a fantastic cafe called Toasts? where we enjoyed an amazing egg benidict each morning and supermarkets, bars and restuarants are very close.
The property itself is basic but comfortable and we would stay here again as it is such a good location.
The owners were very helpful with my enquiries and in allowing us to leave slightly later on our final day.
I stayed at this house for two weeks with my mum and sister and would truely recommend it. It is in a brilliant location to see all Sydney has to offer, with a free shuttle bus only 2 mins walk. It is also within easy walking distance of China Town, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park and many shops/restaurants.
The house was comfortable and well equiped-especially the beds!!
Rosa and her husband were both very welcoming and helpful, giving advice on places to go and see.
We (four 20-something American women) just got back from Sydney and our brief stay in the Surry Hills cottage...but it was everything we expected and more! Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for four people. The back patio was especially surprising and useful for the warm Sydney evenings (it was 100F+ a few days we were there). It is close to the Central train station and walking distance from many sights in the City. Close proximity to several Internet cafes, which we found convenient. It was clean and comfortable, definitely a great value for the price. It's nice to feel like you have a "home away from home" when travelling and not being stuck going back to a boring hotel night after night. Thank you to Rosa and Alan for the warm welcome - and a great place to call home! :)
We stayed at this property twice while traveling around Australia. The first time was with another couple. On this trip, we used the apartment as our base to explore Sydney. It's a pleasant and easy walk to most tourist attractions. At night, we loved having a nightcap on the deck. The apartment was the perfect size for four people, beautifully decorated with everything we needed.(There is only one bathroom, however, so you do need to be organized when getting ready for the day). On our second visit, it was just the two of us. We were a little travel-weary, so we shopped at the nearby supermarket, made dinner in the fully-equipped kitchen and enjoyed a movie while we caught up on our laundry. The sitting area is quite comfortable. The apartment is in an interesting neighborhood. We felt quite safe, although people who are not used to cities should discuss the neighborhood with Rosa, the landlord. We found her to be very helpful and honest.
We would stay there again and recommend it highly.

We would highly recommend this property. It's in a great location for all the sights, close to main rail link. uub, coffee shop and restaurants "down the road".
Rosa met us at the property, showed us around the house, recommended places to visit. Couldn't have been more helpful.
The property itself had plenty of room for my husband and I and our three children (2 teenagers). Great shower, nice and clean, we had a very comfortable stay. Better than a hotel any day
We will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.
