THE CITY AND SURRY HILLS: You are on the edge of the CBD of one of the world’s largest and most beautiful cities. . There’s nothing better than enjoying a drink at one of the numerous bars or pubs by the water whilst the sun sets with the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge as a backdrop. . On weekends you will see an endless stream of yachts and powerboats as everyone flocks to the water. With some of the best beaches in the world and a mild, temperate climate; much of Sydney life is centred on the outdoors. SURRY HILLS: Surry Hills is a very mixed and colourful area, and it has a long and chequered history as part of early Sydney. You are a stone’s throw away from the CBD but at the same time there is a suburban feel. Until the 1980's Surry Hills was a predominantly working class suburb. But the move back to inner city areas by professional and business people has seen Surry Hills transform without losing its charms. . Many of the area's most charming old industrial and retail buildings have been completely refurbished and transformed into highly sought-after residential properties The area's grand old hotels and public bars have been made over into all night entertainment and music venues. All are within a block or two of the house. Just a short walk away you'll find the shopping haven of Oxford Street, also famed for its nightlife scene. Surry Hills also offers a vast range of galleries, parks, museums, pubs and clubs.

We have just recently rented the property from Rosa and we have had a wonderful stay. There were four adults and one child in our party. The property is clean and well equipped. The location is perfect, close to the central station with amenitites within walking distance. Rosa is a most gracious hostess as was Alan. We would highly recommend this space. We look forward to comining back some day. Thank you for making our trip fantastic

Great location with everything you need

We stayed at this property twice while traveling around Australia. The first time was with another couple. On this trip, we used the apartment as our base to explore Sydney. It's a pleasant and easy walk to most tourist attractions. At night, we loved having a nightcap on the deck. The apartment was the perfect size for four people, beautifully decorated with everything we needed.(There is only one bathroom, however, so you do need to be organized when getting ready for the day). On our second visit, it was just the two of us. We were a little travel-weary, so we shopped at the nearby supermarket, made dinner in the fully-equipped kitchen and enjoyed a movie while we caught up on our laundry. The sitting area is quite comfortable. The apartment is in an interesting neighborhood. We felt quite safe, although people who are not used to cities should discuss the neighborhood with Rosa, the landlord. We found her to be very helpful and honest.
We would stay there again and recommend it highly.

We would highly recommend this property. It's in a great location for all the sights, close to main rail link. uub, coffee shop and restaurants "down the road".

Rosa met us at the property, showed us around the house, recommended places to visit. Couldn't have been more helpful.

The property itself had plenty of room for my husband and I and our three children (2 teenagers). Great shower, nice and clean, we had a very comfortable stay. Better than a hotel any day

We will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.
