This well-appointed 4 bedroom villa is located in a quiet residential area, a few minutes drive from the popular La Barrosa beach. It is set in a spacious, secluded garden with a mosaic swimming pool, covered terrace to the front and rear and lawned gardens. The mosaic pool is kidney shaped and has Roman steps at the shallow end. It measures 10m x 5m at its widest point. At the rear of the property, there is an east-facing porch with a large garden table and benches – ideal for breakfast al fresco. Barbecue nearby. The front porch faces west and it is delightful to sit here looking out over the pool as the sun sets. There is parking space inside the property. Entry is via an electric gate and a side gate and the villa is enclosed by 2m walls. The villa has a well-equipped kitchen, good quality furnishings, CD player, DVD player and British satellite channels. The lounge is over 30’ long with an additional dining area adjoining the kitchen. There are 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

La Barrosa beach - an 8 km family beach which has the European Blue Flag award - is just 2kms away. The beautiful, less well-known beach of old Sancti Petri is a similar distance. There are two restaurants within walking distance of the villa: the Popeye is reputed for its fish dishes. The Nueva Alegri­a offers traditional Andalucian and Spanish dishes. Both are popular with Spanish people and you should book if you want to eat there at weekends. A well-stocked supermarket is located behind the restaurant, very useful if you run out of items and open until 9pm most days. There is a shopping centre, with bakery, cashpoint, newsagent, takeaway restaurant and more bars and restaurants within a few minutes drive. A Supersol supermarket is also close by. The town centre of Chiclana is about 6 kms away. This is a traditional Spanish town with a bustling covered market and a range of small shops. A large Hipersol commercial centre is located on the outskirts of the town.

Golf: There is a 36-hole golf course designed by Ballesteros just behind Novo Sancti Petri, about a 10 minute drive from the villa, San Andreas Golf is located to the east of Novo Sancti petri and the 9-hole Club de Golf Campano is located along the road to Algeciras just south of Chiclana. We have negotiated excellent discounts for golfers at the Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club - you will receive the same discount as guests at the Novo Sancti Petri hotels - up to 20%. Outdoor activities: There is a marina and Yacht Club at Sancti Petri. a few minutes drive away. Also a surf and kayaking school. There are tennis courts and horse riding schools in Novo Sancti Petri, 10 minutes or so from the villa. Also bicycle hire is possible. Birdwatching and walking are popular activities in the national parks in the area - the Doñana, Los Alcornocales, Bahia de Cadiz, Trafalgar, and on the miles of empty beaches all along this coastline.

Touring: This is an excellent base for touring, with Sevilla, Cádiz, Jerez, Gibraltar, Arcos de la Frontera, Vejer and the Pueblos Blancos all within a day’s drive. And locally, you can tour the sherry bodegas of El Puerto de Santa Maria and Jerez, take a ferry across the bay from El Puerto to historic Cádiz, wander through the narrow streets of the old town centres, see the horses perform at the Royal Andalucian Equestrian School in Jeréz or visit the renowned Doñana nature reserve on the Guadalquivir. From Tarifa you can take a one or two day excursion across the straits of Gibraltar to Tangier in Morocco.
