Beautiful, family-friendly smoke-free 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, Balinese-style condo. Freshly painted, with brand new upgrades (new sleeper-sofa, new kitchen table/chairs, 3 new TVs, Playstation 3 and more)!

The Aina Nalu resort sits on 9 lush acres in a tropical, garden setting. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the abundance of flowers and greenery add a sense of tranquility, right in the heart of old Lahaina town.

Aina Nalu was fully remodeled in 2006, adding a second swimming pool (a saline infinity pool) and gorgeous pavilion to the grounds. The pavilion itself comes complete with a large, flat-screen TV, vending machines, eating area, wet bar, and plenty of comfy seating. Even the washrooms are a must-see! It's an open-air building, right beside the saline pool, which provides shade when needed, while allowing parents to watch the kids in the pool. It's a great gathering place for meals, parties or just hanging out. The design team really did a magnificent job when they built this pavilion.

Our professionally designed condo is on the second (top) floor and has lovely cathedral ceilings, making it feel more spacious than the ground floor units. We are situated in one of the best locations within Aina Nalu. Our condo is only steps away from BOTH swimming pools - a much sought-after location! Our fully-stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals on those occasions when you don't feel like eating out. We also have a washer and dryer in the unit - VERY handy when travelling with children.

We supply several large beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs/umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, beach mats and sand toys.

Come and find our little piece of paradise -- you'll never want to leave!

About Ed and/or Karen Billig

We're Karen and Ed, and we both grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We still live here, in the suburbs, with our two boys, Steven and Michael. As much as we love Canada and all that it has to offer, we try to travel as much as we can. We have travelled to other tropical destinations, but always return to Maui as it truly feels like our second home. We purchased our condo in Aina Nalu in March 2012 and look forward to making many more happy memories here. We hope that you relax and enjoy yourselves in our home away from home. After staying here, you'll understand why we love it so much and why it's always so hard to leave. Maui No Ka Oi (Maui is the best)!! Aloha!

Why Ed and/or Karen Billig chose Lahaina

We've always made trips to Lahaina part of our Maui holidays, but prior to the summer of 2011, we had never stayed there. After our first time staying at Aina Nalu, we were hooked! We all fell in love with the resort - it truly is a hidden oasis right in the middle of town. The grounds are so beautiful and lush and the atmosphere is very tranquil. At the same time, the resort is very kid-friendly. It's so easy to forget that you're inside a town when you're surrounded by so much incredible vegetation. Everywhere you look, you see green -- for Canadians like us, who see months and months of winter, that is a very welcome sight!

The shopping is wonderful on Front Street, an easy 5 min. walk away! There are so many incredible galleries, gift shops and restaurants. We NEVER get tired of looking through all the different shops!

What makes this condo unique

Both of the swimming pools are wonderful on the property. The newer, saline infinity pool next to the pavilion is incredible. The water is almost always warm and it's surrounded by a beautiful grassy area, instead of a concrete deck. The pools are rarely crowded, so you're not fighting to save chairs like you would be in a hotel/resort. Come and go at your leisure -- the pools and padded lounge chairs will be waiting for you!

Fantastic condo! Perfect place for family of 3 or 4. Exceeded expectations and felt like home. Would go back in a flash! Owners are wonderful to work with and called when we arrived. They have done a beautiful job with the place and have everything you could ever need or want! I would recommend this property to friends and family and the location is perfect. We love Lahaina and the property is on a quiet street with 2 gorgeous pools and great grills to cook your favorite catch of the day!

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay at your condo. The property and condo are beautiful! everything you need is there! We were able to enjoy all the extra supplies such as boogie boards and beach equipment. Lahaina is a great town and outside of the heinous parking issues (just make sure you budget for parking) was our favourite place in Maui. During the whale season, there is a show every moment and we spent much time just looking out at the ocean and the whales doing their thing. Really great. Thanks so much!

Tropical Paradise

The condo is in a great location - both in the complex itself and in Lahaina. Just around the corner from the unit are both pools and in only a 5 minute walk, you are in the heart of Lahaina on Front Street and the waterfront. Ed and Karen have stocked their condo with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, etc. and there are loads of beach towels. boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, a cooler and a great umbrella.The free wi-fi came in very handy, as did the washer and dryer. The condo is exactly as described in the VRBO listing. It looks just like the pictures! It is very clean and well maintained, as are the grounds and pool areas. We had a fantastic vacation and would go back anytime.

I would absolutely recommend this condo to others. Located right in Lahaina within walking distance to everything, it is a quiet oasis of comfort with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The owners were great to deal with, responded to all our questions quickly, and anticipated every amenity we might need in the condo, plus left discount coupons, maps, guide books, pamphlets, and suggestions on where to shop for groceries. Spices and condiments were available in the condo as well as folding chairs, beach toys, surf boards. For kids there were games and movies. The pools were clean and lovely. We appreciated the key code entry -- no worry about losing keys.
