Waterfall, Grapevines and Hot Tub with Views - Nice House Too!

We had a nice time staying here! (our first VRBO experience) This house has a great kitchen and BBQ for cooking meals/packing picnics. The location was perfect for our interests (hiking, sunset, photography). I would definitely recommend this house if you have a car.
Tips: If you have small kids, you may want to bring some plasticware. A computer or iPad is handy for looking up resources or maps.

My husband and I and our two teenaged boys stayed here for the week of Christmas. The house is clean and well-appointed, and the neighborhood is very quiet. We were able to walk to the trailhead for several hikes, including the one to the airport loop (a great place for seeing the sunrise and sunset). We were also able to walk to a great bagel place on 89A, and we were in close driving distance to supermarkets (including New Frontiers...similar to Whole Foods) as well as several restaurants.

Though we did not use the jacuzzi or the fire pit, we did use the grill on two nights, and we also enjoyed the fireplace. The living room is cozy and comfortable for watching TV (Note: the instructions in the house state that the TV takes a couple of minutes to turn on, when, in fact, it seemed to take longer than that. This was not a big deal, however.) The beds were all comfortable and the size of the house was perfect for the four of us.

The owner, Mark, is friendly and helpful, and was responsive to my phone calls and emails prior to our visit.

We rented this house over the New Year Holiday and were very happy with the house! It had all the listed amenities and more! The house was clean and in very good shape. The house also had lots of board games, puzzles, an Ipod dock, a karaoke machine with 2 microphones and a whole library of songs, and a great fireplace! We were with 2 other couples and this was the perfect size. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen had all the cooking utensils, pots and pans we needed! The only thing we had to buy that we expected to have were extra paper towel rolls, dish soap and toilet paper. We also had a bit of trouble with the toilet in the master bedroom and we could not find a plunger. Luckily, it eventually cleared up on its own. There were very descriptive instructions on how to use everything, and the garage was very useful, especially because it snowed during our stay. It was a bit bright in the master bedroom, but it wasn't to the point where we were disturbed. There was a big walk in closet in the master, which was really nice to have. The location was great, just outside of the main strip of shops and close to a grocery store, a fun local bar, and several great restaurants. Some of the guests brought their road bikes and it was a perfect location for riding. Overall our stay was extremely relaxing, cozy, and pleasant and we hope to stay here again sometime soon!
