Location, location, location: one of the first lots chosen at Sea Ranch for many good reasons. Commanding views and sounds of ocean and surf, views from all three bedrooms, an architectural marvel by Robert Radcliff, a porch protected from prevailing winds, and furnishings that have been recently updated all make this the perfect Sea Ranch getaway! Enjoy a wonderful fire in the fireplace while watching the surf crash in the bay. Whether for a romantic escape, a family vacation or a small group of friends, this is the place! We welcome your children.
Easy access to the Bluff Trail. Golf, Tennis and Swimming less than a 10 minute drive. Bring your bikes or your hiking shoes and explore the trails. Abalone diving in the Pacific Ocean as well as Kayaking on the River. The town of Gualala is 10 minutes away with restaurants, groceries, coffee house, video stores, and quaint shops.
Point Arena Lighthouse is a 45 minute drive with the artsy town of Mendocino another 40 minutes up the Coast! Wineries a short drive away.
Enjoy the game on the 42' Flat Screen TV or watch a favorite movie on the Blue Ray DVD. There are three recreational facilities available as part of your rental: each with a pool, tennis courts and locker room with sauna. Firewood for fireplace is provided.
There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom and queen size beds in each of the two additional bedrooms. The house is one story and a nice walking distance (about 1 mile) from the Lodge.

I am in education and love coming up to the Ranch and really relaxing; reading a book, taking walks, and sometimes just sitting outside listening to the surf with my eyes closed.
Reservations at Rams Head Rentals purchased this house in 1967
I enjoy reading and writing and have found this an ideal environment to be inspired by the wonders of nature.
This house was built by famed architect Robert Radcliff and is the only Sea Ranch property designed by him. The wood, high ceilings, angles and views are amazing.
The magic of this oceanfront home is captured in a slight turn of the house on the property. Great views abound from the master suite, the living room, dining room or kitchen. Take your choice of whitewater vistas with Black Point Beach straight ahead, or turn your eyes to right and scan the ocean for whales. From morning coffee to evening cocktails it is difficult to leave the patio, but the bluff trail on the edge of the property leads to the beach or lodge, or go to the right for the seal sanctuary. A big friendly yard and wildlife visitors add to the delight.
We've been going to Sea Ranch 30+ years and this is our favorite house of the many we have rented (shhhhh! don't tell anyone!) Seriously, the location is 'everything' with the south facing, sunny deck that protects the prevailing north wind and keeps you toasty warm while listening to and watching the waves breaking on Black Beach. It's a beautiful, easy walk down to the sand.
The beach house is fully stocked and so peaceful that you won't want or need to go anywhere. But if you do, the Sea Ranch Lodge is right across the bluff for a sunset cocktail or yummy meal. Great gift shop there as well!
Wildlife viewing is amazing right from the house with whales, herons, egrets, pelicans, deer, foxes. You can walk to the cove where baby seals are born in spring. Local docents will help you view them safely. Thanks so much to you owners for sharing this special, super relaxing spot
Take a look at Gualala Arts while you are here. Go to www.gualalaarts.org for the latest schedule of exhibits, concerts, event, and activities.
