Villa Fiona is a two storey property with three double bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms. All bedrooms have air-conditioning, fitted cupboards and stunning views.

There is a double heightened large open plan living area downstairs which incorporates the lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. This entire living area in surrounded by glass providing truly beautiful views from wherever you stand.

A particular feature of this villa is the expansive terracing proving an 'inside-outside' living feel. The terraces provide plenty of independent space for dining, relaxing in a hammock or sun bathing by the pool.

Villa Fiona boasts a beautiful 6x4 meter swimming pool integrated into the terrace with one end disappearing to incredible views of the sea and valley dotted with Cyprus trees.

5 minutes drive down the hillside is the huge Chrani beach with crystal clear waters and stunning views across to the mountains to the Mani peninsular opposite.

The beach provides something for everyone. There are free loungers and sun umbrellas available at various café which range from quiet family areas to loud music bars for those looking for a more lively beach experience.

The Villa is situated just above a small hamlet named Kakorema set 5 minutes drive from Chrani and the beautiful beach. The villa is very quiet and private proving a real “escape” feeling. The views during the day and the twinkling lights at night are breathtaking.

It is a hidden sort of place easily missed on the road from Kalamata to Koroni but being only half-an-hour away from Kalamata airport and 3 hours from Athens airport. Situated midway between the little seaside town of Petalidi, which has an excellent fresh fish market, and the historic Venetian port of Koroni with its magnificent fortress, Chrani has a few great tavernas and bars, a few of tourist shops, bike and car rental and a couple of mini markets. The village of Petalidi only 15 minutes away has a greater selection of shops and tavernas while Kalamata town 30 minutes away has everything you would expect from a large town including a Lidle supermarket on the road to Chrani. The beach at Chrani is amazing and the water quality out of this world. You can either sunbathe at one of the popular beach bars or keep yourself to yourself on the vast sandy beach.

Lovely holiday in a beauitful location

Just got back from a lovely couple of weeks in Greece, the first of which we stayed at this villa. The descriptions and photos are very accurate and the photos do not do the view justice. Loved the region - plenty of things to do and see and lovely towns within a short drive. It was quiet - but that's just what we wanted. Koroni and Methoni were particular favourites and my husband loved the Gyro's at Billy's down the road.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Fiona, we concur with all the positive comments that other people have written in their reviews of the house.

Villa Fiona is the best house we have ever rented in Greece. Fittings, equipment and everything in and around the house is just perfect. Cleaning was top notch. Trying to think of something that was missing - but can not find anything worth mentioning.

The view from the house you can enjoy day and night and with the outdoor music system you can choose your own sound effects - or simply listening to the cicadas in the surrounding olive trees.

The description of the house fits perfectly with reality, and Andrea and Peter were very helpful with key delivery and information about local attractions.

Can not wait to come back!

We spent a week at Villa Fiona in early July 2011. The villa itself is large and comfortable and extremely well equipped. The location high up the mountain is fantastic and commands spectacular views that are really not apparent from the photographs. If you can bring yourself to get up early, the sight of sunrise over the Mani peninsular was quite breathtaking.

The village of Kakorema is very quiet with no near neighbours - exactly what we were looking for. Chrani is a nice little village with all the necessary facilities (small supermarket, bars, tavernas etc), although we spent most of our time exploring the less frequented parts of Messinia (and finding some startlingly dreadful minor roads!). There are many wonderful near-deserted beaches within a half hour drive.

I would happily recommend Villa Fiona to anybody looking for a peaceful holiday away from mainstream tourism.

Love the view

Great holiday, everybody loved the villa. Kids especially liked the outdoor music system while they were in the pool or sun bathing.

Very peaceful in the evening, secluded with no close neighbours.

Shame the pool was not a little bit bigger, especially when you have several kids/teenagers playing in it.

Hellas Viking currently run a convenient flight from Gatwick to Kalamata.

Koroni is a gem, with great beaches just south of it. Not too crowded either. Local beach was also good and the sea is warm.

Like the area as it is not overtly touristic or overcrowded.

Great Villa and view and a peaceful location!

We (4 adults and 2 kids) spend a wonderful week in Villa Fiona late June 2010. The Villa is everything it is advertised to be but with a view that is far better than what a picture can display. In all the villa has very good space for 6 people and is located in a beautiful area of Messini with lots of beaches and history around it for nice day trips for several weeks.

Villa of Chranoi has few nice restaurants (we especially loved the on top Budget car rental) and close by bigger village of Petalidi has most other things you would need on a weeks trip.

I would highly recommend Villa Fiona to anyone looking for peaceful and relaxing holiday in a high quality house with all the necessary modern day comforts and luxury in a rural setting. The drive of 3.5 km from the coast road is quite comfortable and it was always nice to see how beautiful the house is when arriving there. I hope that we will be there again some day!
