Calella de Palafrugell: Picture postcard old fishing village with beautiful beaches, coves and typical white seaside houses. Traditional small boat fishing is still practiced here. Llafranc: Sister village to Calella de Palafrugell. It makes for a beautiful walk along the coast between the two villages. Sitting high on the cliffs to the north of Llafranc is the stunning vista from the lighthouse, restaurant and medieval church (ask for the key in the restaurant) of El Far / Sant Sebastian. Pals: Beautifully preserved hilltop medieval village, complete with church, castle, winding cobbled streets and vistas to the Mediterranean. Girona: Medieval city with charming narrow cobbled streets and a perfectly preserved “old quarter”. Girona also has many shops and department stores in the newer part of town. Figueres: Home of the world-renowned Dalí museum. If you have any interest in art this is the place for you. And don’t forget Pubol, a local village with a castle that Dalí renovated
