Beautiful, authentic holiday home in the centre of Ibiza Town

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful apartment during the middle of September for a whirlwind five nights.

The villa itself is gorgeous – it’s modern and funky, with comfortable sofas and retro furnishings. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed – although you are surrounded by so many restaurants you will barely use it - and although I was slightly concerned from the photographs that the bed wouldn’t be comfortable, the first thing I did was lie on it when we arrived and I couldn’t have been more wrong!

The location is quite simply second to none. We were surrounded by a whole range of vibrant bars and restaurants serving great food and whilst I typically prefer villas with pools, sunbathing and swimming were within easy reach as the beaches were just a short boat trip or taxi ride away. We particularly loved Salincas beach, as apart from the obvious OMG enjoyment of people watching , the beautiful clear water was shallow for ages and we spent a good few hours wallowing whilst catching some colour!

However - what made the whole trip one of the best for the both of us was the help and advice provided by the owner Phil. Phil gave us lots of information before we travelled and recommended beaches, bars, restaurants etc. and even very happily helped us whilst we were out there! I have never stayed anywhere where the owner clearly cares so much that people are having a good time. This alone made it a five-star trip but the fact that it was our first visit to Ibiza, made it invaluable. Thanks Phil!

We only have a few gripes –very minor - and these seem to echo previous reviewers’. The first is that the lovely downstairs shower became blocked and hence flooded the floor and the second is that it could have been a little cleaner. The floor was quite dusty (sand?) when we got there and we too found a few things about, e.g. a plastic bottle top. And a good tip – if you get there and the boiler isn’t plugged in, make sure you switch it on straightaway. We didn’t and so were forced to have cold showers on our first night!

I don’t want to end on this note because as mentioned, these are only very minor gripes and I would hate for it to put anyone off! We are both quite fussy and wouldn’t ever rate anywhere five star if we didn’t feel it truly deserved it. We have definitely fallen in love with not only the apartment but also Ibiza and simply can’t wait to go back to both. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

My friends and i wanted a funky aptment in Ibiza old town and WOW did we find it... The location is perfect for cool shopping & day and night markets. The Harbour is mins walk away and you can easily get a Boat/Bus or Taxi to anywhere. Cocktail bars & restaurants are on your door step, but the Aptment is VERY quiet and we slept well when we did get home !!!
The Aptment is very clean and stylish and was well equipped for everything we needed for our stay. It suited all of us. I will book in advance for this aptment so i do not miss out on this perfect stay location. I am already looking forward to dinner in the lanes, cocktails in the harbour and the SUN.. Hello there, let me firstly introduce myself – My name is Simon and I was fortunate to stay at the apartment from the 13th June 2010 till the 19th June with my girlfriend and all I can say what an experience!
Mr Dibbs was very helpful in recommending places, and he explained to benefit the holiday would be to buy a Rough Guide so sure enough at Newcastle Airport I bought one, and this was a very wise decision as this book tells you everything you need to know and is completely honest.
If you require any advice on Ibiza or things to do on the island then Mr Dibbs will give the most imformative and honest advice you can ask for.
He informed us of the best places to visit, the most beautiful beaches and for the stunning sunsets you'll ever see.
The apartment itself is clean, tidy and a very smart . Its that swish even Hugh Hefner would be impressed. The photos give it no justice at all. Everything you'll ever need is on your doorstep - Within 10 minutes walk you have the Cathedral, 5 minutes from the harbour and less than 2 minutes you have some of the nicest bars and restruants you can ask for with very friendly people who are more tghan happy to chat about your Ibiza experience.(we even managed to get provided free VIP tickets to Pacha!!)
Before we left we searched high and low for the most appropriate appartment to suit myself and my gf. We were torn between two apartments and looking back now after having the holiday Im so glad we went for this one - It offered everything we needed - Things to do during the day are lots of sightseeing on the door step and never a moment to be bored - in the evening it offered everything needed to make it such a memorable holiday. I would recommend this place to anyone and if someone came back off the holiday after me recommending it I would eat my hat. Im trying hard to think of negatives, but I really struggling. The previous review said there was no coffee but even thats been amended. Not that it would have bothered me excessively. The stairs are a little small yeah but not excessive to a point where I cant get my size 13 feet up them when I had one too many. As the previous review said 'We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.' and I would 100% agree with that statement.
I could write so much more on it but Ive ran out of characters. So to conclude. The only thing I could moan about is the weather wasn’t sunny everyday – Now if Mr Dibbs can amend this then he would be doing Carlsberg Holidays!Simon&Ali
