Rock Creek is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream, located just 45 minutes from Missoula, Montana and Missoula International Airport. A favorite stream for wade fishermen and women. Small enough to navigate by foot and large enough to provide a healthy habitat for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat, Trout, Brook Trout and Bull Trout. Rock Creek drains from The Pintlar Wilderness in SW Montana, making for a crystal clear mountain stream. Bighorn Sheep are often viewed just off the Rock Creek Road and on occasion pass through the subject property. Eagles, Osprey, Moose, Fox, Otters, Black Bears, Deer and Elk also inhabit the drainage. Rock Ck. is surrounded by Forest Service for an array of hiking and biking opportunities.

public access for a peaceful fishing experience. Clean, well kept property, just off the pavement on Lower Rock Creek. Reasonably priced.
Founded by our father over 15 years ago and still family owned, we cherrish every minute we are able to visit Rock Creek and is always an unforgettable event.
Brad Woodward purchased this cabin in 1995
Located in one of the most beautiful parts of Western Montana. Miissoula and the airport is about 1 hour from the home. Visit the University of Montana, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and more. Glacier National Park is 3 hours away, while Yellowstone is 5 hours. Summer thunderstorms are amazing. They come and go rapidly. Weather can vary from 70's to upper 90's but evenings cool down nicely. Always an evening for a fire and viewing a night sky with stars that will amaze you.
The home also has onsite a 18' travel trailer with linens that sleeps 3 comfortably. Electricity provide, no water or bathroom. Will need to use the main house.
Stayed in Rock Creek for a week and I did not want to leave! Rock Creek was simply amazing. The house, the sights, the wildlife, and the fishing were amazing. Did I mentioned that the fishing was amazing! Catching 18"+ Rainbows, Cutthroat Bows, Browns, and Whitefish all day on dries was amazing.
I was there with my dad and brother and we all had fun. Owner was very courteous and polite. He also went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a good one. I would definitely recommend everyone experience their slice of heaven in Rock Creek Montana.
The cabin is as described. It is well apportioned with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The cabin has a great deck for hanging out for a BBQ after a day of fishing. It has a fire pit with supplied fire wood for evening campfires. The cabin is located in an area that is very abundant in wildlife, We spotted elk, deer, beavers, eagles, big horn sheep, kingfishers, bluebirds, and many other critters. The fishing at Rock Creek is some of the best trout fishing in the world, this cabin is a great spot to set up the base camp for fishing Rock Creek. The rental price of the cabin is as fair as it goes and will not break the bank to have a nice place to stay at Rock Creek where cabin rental prices the last few years have gone through the roof. The owner is very easy to contact and communicates very well with you to make sure you have a great stay.
Four of us stayed at the cabin during our annual fishing trip. The location along Rock Creek was excellent - immediate access to Rock Creek, but close enough to the highway that it was not difficuly getting out and driving to some other areas. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The cabin is cozy and we all slept well at night. The kitchen is well-equipped and we grilled outside a couple of nights. Overall, a very pleasant stay. And the fishing was pretty good, too.
The accommodations for me and my family could have not been more spot on! Having no TV, cell service allowed all of us to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Having private access to an amazing stream was merely part of why we booked this place. Seeing big horn sheep, a young bull moose, deer, bald eagle and more was priceless. The house is well kept with all of the essentials of home. We even had guests stay in the travel trailer that has been taken care of and is very clean. We can tell this house is for those who appreciate fishing and nature. Many family artifacts/old fishing rods and creels hang in the home with care. Thank you for opening your home to our family. We look forward to returning.
I was very pleased with my experience. The cabin is a bit on the rustic side but it was clean and had everything we needed. The owner is very easy to deal with and fair. I stayed there with my family and had friends come visit. Everyone enjoyed the location. The property has access to a great fishing hole and there are any number of great walk-in spots within a short drive of the cabin. I felt the price was very reasonable. My wife especially liked that there was no cell phone reception or Internet service. Load up on food supplies before heading out there. It is a long drive to the nearest grocery store. I would definitely stay here again.
