WALK TO HISTORIC MAIN STREET FROM YOUR DELUXE COTTAGE!

We stayed at this adorable cottage for two months while working in the area. Ross and Tammy, the owners, were wonderful from the very beginning offering information about what to do, where to shop, etc. The property shows pride of ownership and the two of them take loving care of all the details. The cottage is exactly as it appears in photos. It was spotless, charming and fully equipped. The details such as color, decorative moldings and nice artwork were all appealing and made the cottage feel like home. I loved the big screen TV after a long day at work and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed walking two blocks to the historic downtown area where we could have breakfast or dinner and explore the great little shops. We were there through Christmas- it was fun to see Grapevine all decked out in it's Christmas finery- They go all out!! All in all it was a great experience and we will likely return. Ross and Tammy are great hosts.!!

What a wonderful place to stay! My husband and I spent an extended weekend at this lovely home, and found it to be inviting and comfortable. It has plenty of space and has been beautifully updated. We loved the way the kitchen opens up into the living room area. The wood floors and warm earthtone colors add a nice ambiance, and everything was impeccably clean. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking and serving utensils, and we enjoyed sharing a bottle of wine and making dinner at the house. There's a comfy sofa and chair in the living room area, with a large flat screen TV and DVD. We also loved the pebble-bottomed shower, which gives a nice foot massage. We have this in our shower at home, and were pleasantly surprised by this. Lots of fluffy towels were available, as well as extra sheets and blankets ... everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. A washer and dryer is available if needed in a back room of the house. The owners, who live in the home directly behind the rental, are very friendly and available if needed, but completely unobtrusive. The most important thing of all to us was that they were willing to let us bring our small dogs, who are like family members to us (in fact, the purpose of our road trip was to spend some family time with them on an "adventure"). The owner has a very large lot with trees and beautiful plants, so we were able to walk around the property with our pets, which they loved. There's also a beautiful park directly across the street from the rental. The street can be a bit busy during morning rush hour, but this didn't detract from our stay as we're early risers anyway. The owners obviously put a lot of thought into the things that would make guests comfortable, and I hope we'll be able to enjoy visiting this lovely home again.

We loved every minute of our five days in the cottage in Grapevine. The property is very clean and newly renovated with easy access to downtown Grapevine. The owners, who live next door, were friendly and helpful and had provided everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We frequently rent on VRBO, so we know properties sometimes look better online than they do in person. We were pleasantly surprised in this case. While the house is small, it didn't feel cramped; the furniture is new; the bath and shower are nice; the laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer; the kitchen is fully equiped and opens to the living room; and the queen bed is very comfortable and there is a large closet with shelves. We will definitely rent here again when we're in the area!
