Very cute cottage is charming inside and out.
Cozy comfort with a large private bedroom, one bathroom and an open living room and kitchen. A multi-purpose room provides laundry appliances and plenty of extra space as an office, study or guest room.
This not-so-big house is simply splendid for an individual or couple. The house can also easily accommodate up to five guests for shorter stays.
The location is perfect. The award-winning ten acre Grapevine Botanical Garden is directly across the street. Lighted tennis courts (two blocks), historic Nash Farm (two blocks) and an abundance of shopping and dining on Main Street (three blocks).
A whole-house renovation was completed in February 2012 including new furniture throughout, new housewares, new central HVAC, new on-demand or “tankless” water heater, wood floors, spray foam insulation and so much more.
The bedroom features plenty of storage with an expanded wardrobe-style closet.
The black and white tiled bathroom has a large shower and pedestal sink.
With the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and the convertible over-sized chair in the multi-purpose room the cottage sleeps a total of five guests.
The large kitchen opens to the living room. A pub-style dining table and tall stools offer up a cozy at-home dining option. Slide to the side when not in use.
There is clear parking for two vehicles. Nothing fancy.
Adjacent to the cottage is nice pergola with a table, chairs and double glider. A charcoal grill is nearby for outdoor cooking. And there are a couple of rocking chairs on the front porch!
The cottage is close to pretty much everything! Ten minutes from DFW International Airport; five minutes to the Gaylord Texan; five minutes to Great Wolf Lodge; seven minutes to Grapevine Mills Mall; ten minutes to Southlake Town Square. If you drive like a Texan then downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas are twenty minutes away.

The owners live on-site, enjoy traveling and camping, own a couple of frisky wiener dogs and tend to spend a lot of time tending to the landscaping around the house. Say 'Hi' if you see them wandering around.
Ross Bannister purchased this cottage in 2007
In fact, the owners lived in the cottage while building their award-winning LEED-Platinum 'green' home next door. After moving in to the new house, they kept the cottage for family and friends. After a total renovation, they have opened the cottage for others to enjoy.

What a wonderful cottage in an awesome location. Very comfortable, clean and loaded with all of our needs.
We were pleased to find the cottage immaculate, charming and well appointed. We wanted for nothing during our month long stay! We highly recommend it for those seeking a comfortable, carefree "home away from home."
A wonderful little cottage that was just perfect for my wife and I. It really did seem like "home from home". We wanted for nothing. Everything was clean; well-furnished and a very comfortable bed ! A perfect "retreat" from the Michigan winter. Only a 3 mins. walk to Main Street that has all the little stores/bars and restaurants that you can shake a stick at! We spent the month of December there. Ross and Tami were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
This cottage exceeded my expectations in every way. Tastefully furnished, super comfortable, and convenient to everything. Great experience!
We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable cottage. All the necessities were included and it felt like a home away from home. The owners were flexible and happily catered to our needs in childproofing the home for our 15 month old. Our two children had a pleasant stay and with the Botanical garden/playground directly across the street the location is great for families with children. I would highly recommend staying here. In fact, we are returning for our second stay in a few weeks, and plan to check this location first for any subsequent visits to Grapevine!
We loved this property. It was clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully! The kitchen was easy to cook in and we invited friends over for dinner. I recommend this property highly!
