Located above the Kona coast line in Kona Heavens our unit (460sqft) offers comfortable elegance surrounded by our fruit orchard, palm trees, fragrant and exquisite tropical flowers. Enjoy the spectacular coast line panorama of North Kona from your bed, lanai or from the pool. Sleep soundly as cool mountain breezes gently rustle the palms and trees. Begin your day with listening to our many birds as morning slowly awakens along the coast line.

After arriving at the airport on Big Island a short 8 minute drive will bring you to our luxurious property in KONA HEAVENS. The elevation of 1000 ft (300m) is perfect for comfortable, temperate and relaxing nights. Stepping out into the pool area you have landed. Now it's time to enjoy the sunsets, lay back and let go!

Big Island is yours!!! Uncountable adventures await the curious.

When you are ready pack a lunch and explore. It takes only a 12 to 40 minute drive to reach any of the 10 different, beautiful beaches to the north. Feel free to take along our beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach towels and beach mats.

If you would like, plan your day with the help from your hosts. Only a short drive away to the south you can explore Big Island favorites: Pu'uhonua o Honaunau (The Place of Refuge) National Historic Park and Kahalu'u Beach Park (best snorkel beach). At Kealakekua Bay rent a kayak and take along our snorkel gear to encounter vibrantly colored tropical Hawaiian fish, sea turtles (Honu) and spinner dolphins while exploring the crystal blue waters near the Captain Cook Monument.

Enjoy a hike at Volcanoes National Park or visit the summit of Mauna Kea.

Hungry after a day of fun and new experiences?

Although there are many excellent restaurants in Kailua Kona (5 minutes from here) you might like to stay in, visit one of the Big Islands farmers markets for island fresh produces and prepare your own BBQ in our spacious pool area. Also our unit kitchenette is equipped with all you need for a private gourmet meal.

Before retiring relax to a beautiful sunset or a spectacular star filled sky in our outdoor hot tub!

About The Owner

Aloha!!

We are Ursula and Roland and moved to Kona not long ago from Switzerland. Ursula is retired teacher and Roland was a professional classical musician. After exploring many places of the world and all the Hawaiian Islands the decision was made to settle here in Kona Heavens.

The Owner purchased this studio in 2011

Our sun drenched Kona coast is truly a vacationer’s paradise! This is THE place for outdoor activities all year ! Be adventurous, go explore! In the winter months you can go to Maune Kea and even play in the snow, and later on drive down and frolic in the ocean! Where else in the world ist that possible? After a day of tropical island adventures you will come back to your place in Kona Heavens and look forward to swim in our saline pool and a relaxing soak in the hottub. This is your time to be lazy, watch the sunset and enjoy tranquility.

Best Place for Hawaiian Vacation!

We stayed at Roland and Ursula's for three weeks which were perfect! The house is surrounded by a lush tropical garden with fresh fruit, from which you have a spectacular view of the coast. Roland and Ursula are very knowledgable of the domestic plants. Also they heled us plan our visit which helped us save a lot of time and made it easy for us to get around the island. They gave us plenty of "insider Tips" which were all very worthwhile. There are plenty of tourguides and maps to borrow as well as snorkel gear, fins, mats, beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards.
We were warmly welcomed with a complementary fruit basket and a spotlessly clean unit.
Mahalo Roland and Ursula for making our vacation the best ever!

We didn't know what to say, when we arrived at the home stay. We were speachless!

Fantastic View, Great People, wonderful garden, warm welcome, ... The list of great reasons for booking this studio is can fill books.

We were glad to choose this studio and whish to come back more often!

All the creature comforts you want, with a view of a lifetime

I arrived Jan 2, 2013 to a gracious greeting from Ursula, Roland, and their visiting son. I was quickly shown to my unit, which pictures here do not do justice. The unit is large, with incredible views, and the lanai is probably 30 feet long.
The grounds are incredible, landscaping on the property is majestic! I will be challenged to wake up to anything this beautiful again.
Downtown Kona is a short 4 miles from the property making it an excellent location.
As I prepare to leave today, Sunday Jan 13th, Ursula was kind enough to grant me a later check out time, as my flight time was changed.
Next time I return this amazing island, I will be sure to stay here!

Kona Heavens it is..!!

We spent 3 nights here and wish it could have been more. The place is impeccable. Gorgeous gardens surround your ocean views from the large lanai. It is peaceful and serene yet close to all west island activities (especially near the harbor where we left for diving and snorkeling trips). We enjoyed the BBQ and played in the saltwater pool (we loved it) taking trips to the hot tub. Thank you to Ursalla and Roland for being the perfect hosts hope to see you again soon.
