Villa Ruya is in the style of a mini castle full of charm and character but with all the modern comforts of home including; fully fitted modern kitchen,dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, fridge, microwave, satellite TV, DVD and air con in all bedrooms. The furniture is antique in style, in keeping with the Gothic Stone fireplace, chandeliers and sweeping spiral staircase in its own turret! A gallery overlooks the lounge from the first floor and the high ceilings keep the villa naturally cool in the hot summers. The private pool has a built in Jacuzzi & pool lights so you can swim under the stars at night and enjoy mountain views by day. The large balcony terrace makes an ideal outside dining area with a built in stonework BBQ with stunning views. There are four bedrooms and the villa can sleep up to 11. On 1st floor are 2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom, bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower. The 2nd floor has a large family bedroom with king size bed and 2 singles +cot. Sea views!

Villa Ruya is in an ideal location. No car hire is needed as all amenities, restaurants, marina are all within a 5 minute walk. The villa is centrally located but still within a pine forest setting with no busy roads to cross or steep mountain slopes to navigate if you wish to stroll into town. Gocek is a lovely upmarket small town that prides itself on its beautiful setting and excellent restaurants. The town is mainly used by visiting yachtsman and so therefore is not too touristy. Gocek island (20 min boat ride from Gocek) has a beautiful unspoilt beach and the many gulet boats offer day trips to the 12 islands with frequent stops so you can swim, scuba dive in the turquoise sea. Nearby is the town of Fethiye, reached by the frequent mini bus service and there are excursions available to Dalyan where you can go on a boat trip, visit the ancient Roman lycian city of Kaunos, see turtles, visit the mudbaths and swim in the sea at Iztusu beach. Gocek is an ideal quiet family holiday.

Gocek town council have now eradicated the mosquito population and stringently manage this. However, if you really do not tolerate mosquitoes all beds can have mosquito nets if you so wish!
