Lovely one bedroom flat located 7 minutes drive by car to Notting Hill gate and Kensington . Bus stop outside the door tubes trains very close. Upmarket private urbanization, with private parking in lovely communal gardens. The property is decorated to a very high and minimalistic standard and benefits from a patio door leading out onto a nice private path which in turn offers outside space. The property is a 2 minute drive to the A40 which leads you into Marble Arch and Oxford St within 15 minutes ( but quite honestly it's better to get the bus or tube as parking in London is nearly impossible,Oxford and Cambridge is less than an hours drive and Windsor and the airport is approx half hour. Quite honestly you are pretty central to the country and the City There is a a double bed in the bedroom and the through kitchen lounge has a Japanese style sofa which sleeps 2 comfortably. Its lovely mod and light..very secure with gates.. available long let from November to March...

1 bedroom flat 7 minutes drive from Kensington (honestly) with private parking and lovely gardens. Out side the flat you have a bus that takes you straight to High street Kensington and Queensway. there are also buses trains and tubes ( all very close by) that take you anywhere in to central London, or you can get the train and go to RICHMOND ROYAL PARK or HAMPTON COURT just 10 minutes on the train. We are also only 3 bus stops away from the biggest and brand new shopping centre in Europe WESTFIELD. There you have everything from designer wear to kitchen pots and pans. It is open until 12pm every night apart from Sunday when it closes at 10pm. so when you're bored (and you won't be ) you can browse the fabulous shops and restaurants. From there IF you have any energy left, you can cross the road and walk up HOLLAND PARK AVENUE and visit the world famous PORTOBELLO ROAD which is open every day but, Saturday is the big day, where you can buy VINTAGE CLOTHES & ANTIQUES

There are also enormous cupboards also in the bedroom plenty of room the gardens are lit up at night and are very pretty & the estate is very quiet.

One bedroom flat that is on a pretty private estate with private parking. Outside the door is a bus that takes you straight to high street Kensington, through Notting hill gate and Bayswater Rd leading up to Oxford St. There are various buses and tubes and also a train station which is walking distance. (5 minutes) if you want to drive to Kensington it will take you no longer than 10 minutes but there is no point stressing yourselves because parking is very expensive( except weekends) and there is no need to take the car really as the buses and tubes are very regular. Holland Park is the biggest indoor shopping centre in Europe, Westfield. It is open every night until 12midnight and Sunday 10 pm and is just 3 stops on the bus outside the flat. From there if you wish you can walk into Kensington or, if you stay on the bus it will take you to marble arch where you can shop till you drop in Oxford Street.

An unforgettable holiday

Overall I think that there is hardly any other accommodation in London for rent over the internet where you get such a great value for the money (I looked for almost a half month!).

First of all, Vivien is a really friendly person who cares about her tenants. If there is anything, you can call her anytime. Second, I think the location of the apartment was perfect for us, because you avoid the noise in the city and shopping outside the tourist areas is way cheaper. The apartment itself was very clean when we arrived. It has a lot of newly equipped furniture. The apartment is very comfortable, and if you travel with two kids, there would also be enough space on the sofa where they can sleep on together.

For shopping, you will find some grocery stores on the way to East Acton Station (10 min walk) and over there a bigger Iceland supermarket with very cheap prices. In the other direction you also have a bigger main street, where you will find a lot foreign grocery stores and bars. Viven also told us about a bigger Sainsbury's near Ladbroke Grove (70 bus, directly from the apartment). The surrounding of the apartment is very calm. If you take a look at Google Maps you will see that the annex is located just aside of a bigger area of playing fields. Personally I always had the feeling to live in a very safe area.

If you want to go to the city, there are several possibilities: You can take the 70 bus, which directly stops in front of the apartment and takes you till South Kensington (last stop,almost in front of British Museum, about 50 min), or you take the 7 bus (almost the same route, but from Notting Hill on it drives to the city center via Oxford Circus). There are several other lines in that area, for example one that drive to White City. Every bus station has a bus route plan for the local neighborhood, so you will find your way easily.

Although the drive with the bus takes a bit longer, the great thing about it is that you see a lot from the city. The second opportunity is travelling by underground. You have the East Acton Station 10-15 min. away from the apartment. The good thing about the station is that it is still in Travel Zone 2, so you save some money if you buy a travelcard for Z.1-2, and second it is on the District Line, which directly takes you to the main stations of the city (Bond Street,Oxford Circus,St. Paul's etc.) very fast (10-15 min).

All in all, I can highly recommend this accommodation. We had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful and comfortable stay

Vivien's apartment is extremeley comfortable and fully equipped with new amenities. The area is clean and peaceful, yet close to the hustle bustle of central London - bus ride is 10-15 minutes from the bus stop which is literally outside the door, which makes vacation very conveniant and coft effective.

Vivien is a very diligent individual who truly cares about her vacationers and is always there to ensure comfort and ease.

I highly reccomend this flat to anyone - couples, families, singles, etc.

The property is located in very convient place for commuting in and out of London-either by car or by public transport.
The safe parking is saves a lot of hasle and etc.

Landlord is a great communicator.

Highly recomended-A+. And the daily charge-you cant complain.
