Horse and buggies and many beautiful surroundings are in Amish Country with a convenience of wonderful homemade food, and quality products (crafts, quilts, furniture, and much more) made by the Amish.

You will have so many activities to occupy your time. Enjoy quality family time with access to the Juniata River. Great for Kayaking, Fishing, Canoeing (Canoe is included in the rental).

My wife and I are very outgoing, friendly, and motivated individuals. We love meeting new people and want to help guide your way so you can have a wonderful & memorable vacation. We are proud owners of a small business located in Mount Union, PA. We decided to rent out our Vacation Home so that you can enjoy the surroundings that my wife and I enjoy. My wife runs a boarding kennel, so that concludes that we do love animals. Traveling is one of our pleasures, and we love flying airplanes. We have our own airport, and our own airplanes, so if you are into aviation and have your own airplane, you are more than welcome to fly in! We love the country, love the atmosphere, and we would like you and your family to be a part of it.

If you're looking for a place in the country with farm animals and a nice place to unwind, this is for you. I love any kind of animal, so I felt right at home! I did a lot of driving to find Raytown Lake entry points and saw a lot of pretty countryside. Found Belleville and really was amazed by the horse drawn buggies and Amish way of life. I would like to go back there again, especially on a Wednesday when they have an auction. Raytown lake and conference center has a lot of nice camping sites and cottages to rent. Nice place.

My husband and I wanted a short getaway to celebrate our first anniversary. Since we both love to fish, we decided on the Raystown Lake area. This house was perfect for us to walk right out and fish on the Juniata.
The house was very clean and comfortable.
But the most memorable thing for us was how the owners treated us like family. They are very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable trip.
Besides fishing on the Juniata we took a guided fishing trip on Raystown. We also hike the Thousand Steps. We also recommend a drive up Rte 655 to enjoy views of the Valley which includes plenty of Amish farms and little shops to stop and shop.
We hope we can go back again next year!
