Birches is located on beautiful Maranacook Lake in Winthrop, Maine. It is part of a small group of recently renovated but classically styled 'Maine Camps.'

You will see why this gem was formerly known as 'The Honeymoon Cottage' with its cozy layout and unmatched views of the lake from a wall of floor to ceiling windows.

Birches has re-finished wood floors, an updated kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. With one bedroom, this cottage is best suited to a couple. A couch and twin bed add extra sleeping space. Birches also features a small, private dock to enjoy the Maine summer sun.

Linens and bath towels are provided, however a $50 discount is available to those wishing to bring their own sheets and towels. (Please bring your own beach towels.) All cottages are smoke free. A contract is required for each booking.

Birches sleeps 2-4 (including the couch). Rental fee is $850.00 per week. Rates are weekly and apply to bookings of one to two weeks. Book three consecutive weeks and receive a 10% discount. Book for 4+ weeks and receive a 15% discount. (A 15% discount also applies prior to Memorial Day and after Labor Day.) The 7% Maine State Lodging Tax will be applied to all rental fees. Refundable deposit of $250.00 for any damages also applies. There is an additional $100.00 cleaning fee. Half of the total rental fee, full deposit and the cleaning fee are due when booking. The balance must be paid 14 days prior to arrival.

No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Cottage is rented on a weekly basis only. Rent is $850/week.
