Excellent location; Comfortable apartment

My husband and I have rented apartments in various countries with mixed experiences. We found this apartment to be everything it claimed to be and more. The location is ideal. It is a short walk to the Paseo del Prado where all the museums are located and also to the Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol, and the historical part of town. There are many restaurants, tapas bars and jazz clubs in the neighborhood. It is close to the metro and stores.
The apartment itself is very comfortable, well-equipped, tastefully furnished with lots of light . We were in the middle of our trip to Spain so were very happy to find a washer/dryer so we could have clean clothes.
Both the owner, Carmen, and Sol who met us at the apartment were very helpful. Sol even lent us a mobile phone for our stay.
I would highly recommend this apartment and hope that we will be able to return there on our next visit to Madrid.
