Photos and Description of the Luxor vacation villa rental Self catering but with optional service from our local manager/partner

Villa with two large air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a large bathroom en-suite, the other with a similar bathroom adjacent. Large sitting room with dining area and kitchen at one end. Self catering facilities but breakfast can be brought to you and served on the extensive roof terrace, a star feature of the villa. You can enjoy the sun here and there is a sheltered area for eating and relaxing. It provides a romantic setting by day or night, with a view across the Nile to the Old Winter Palace hotel, Luxor Temple and the busy city of Luxor. Behind the villa are sugar cane plantations with a backdrop of mountains which encompass the valleys of the world famous antiquities of ancient Thebes. The villa is entered via a small garden with bougainvillea from a quiet street at the edge of the village, from where you can stroll along the West bank of the Nile, or visit the nearby small shops and restaurants. A five minute boat ride will take you across the river to the East bank

Nearest Train: Luxor station (with boat crossing) at 3 Kilometres

Nile view villa, in enclosed garden, with large roof terrace, looking straight across to the Old Winter Palace hotel and Luxor Temple. Very close to all antiquities. Excellent value local restaurants and use of swimming pool in nearby hotel for a small charge. Acivites include: visits to ancient temples and the valleys of the KIngs, Queens and Nobles (just up the road); sailing in a feluca and excursions by private motor boat to the stunning Karnak temple and other places on the east bank; walking over nearby mountains; hot air balloon trips; visiting friendly local villages and other places by donkey or camel straight from your villa;horse rides into the desert; longer excursions by 4x4 to oases in the Western Desert. All these can be arranged at modest costs with our wonderful local mamager, who will meet you at the airport or train station, look after you throughout your stay, and if you wish, serve breakfast to you on your roof terrace, or if preferrd just leave you to relax there
