Es grop, Ibiza. One room apartment on complex with shared pool / children's pool and gardens surrounded by pine trees. Private terrace. Only 2 min away from the sandy shallow beach. Portinatx has all amenities including plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The property is surrounded by pine trees, facing the quiet Mediterranean sea. Northwest orientation, so beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed everyday from the terrace. Its only 3 min away from the sandy and shallow Portinatx beach, perfect for children, but not suitable for people with mobility problems due to stairs. Equipped with large private pool. Portinatx has all amenities including plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, souvenirs, supermarkets, playground, water park, glass bottom boat, diving center, taxis and bus service to Ibiza town. If it's adventure that your looking for: only 5 minutes by car or 25 walk there is one of the wildest bays in the Balearic Island, Xarraca Bay where the film South Pacific was filmed.

Portinatx is complete mini resort, ideal for families, and one of Ibiza's best known beauty spots with three good, sandy beaches to choose from. The largest beach S'Arenal Gros is in the Bay across from the main Coach Park; little S'Arenal Petit, which is more private, is around the corner from the rocky promontory to the left. The third is Playa Porto Beach, surrounded by little pineclad hillocks, it is in a little cove at the end of the main road. All these beaches have shallow water and are excellent for bathing.

We stayed in a studio apartment. Great value for money and fantastic view of pool and ocean. Adequate facilities in accommodation for cooking etc. Good water pressure in shower. Excellent location - 100 steps and you are at the waters edge.

Downsides - right next door to a big apartment block full of Thompson all inclusive holiday-makers which means noisy. Ok if you like listening to loud northerner accents over the mike from 10am each morning, or Thomspon the Dog doing story time at 4:30pm every day! It was also really hot at night (35 degrees and sunny all day). We ended up having to open the front and back doors just to get some air flow and didn't sleep as well as we could have if there was air con - I would recommend you pay extra for a second fan.
