Located in the centre of the traditional Austrian village of Kaprun in the Europa Sport region, our apartment is a two-minute walk away from the ski-bus stop giving you access to almost 200km of pistes, three snow parks and 80km of cross-country skiing tracks. This snow-sure resort is perfect for year round skiing and snowboarding, as well as offering summertime activities such as cycling, walking, golf and sailing and windsurfing on Lake Zell. The stunning Kitzsteinhorn Glacier at over 3000 metres is sure to please beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders and Zell-am-See has beautiful tree-runs and challenging courses for the more advanced among us. Our apartment is ideally located near a whole range of traditional bars and restaurants. This family friendly, stylish apartment has a traditional balcony boasting beautiful scenic views towards the glacier, fully equipped modern kitchen, large bathroom, two bedrooms and lounge/diner with TV. There is also a heated boot store.

Whether you want to ski or snowboard in the winter or sail, cycle or walk in the summer, beautiful Kaprun has something for everyone. Situated at the foot of the mighty Kitzsteinhorn mountain and sharing the Europa Ski area with Zell am See, skiers are well taken care of. Further a field you will find the resorts of Saalbach Hinterglemm and Maria Alm. Located near to the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Grossglockner Strasse and just a short drive from Salzburg, there is plenty to offer for the summer visitor. The Hohe Tauern Radweg runs through Kaprun and offers cyclists 325 kilometers of scenic cycling. Maybe golf if your sport, again you will be spoilt for choice. If you are not such a sporty person but wish to soak up the stunning scenery there are numerous places to drive to or enjoy a pleasant walk. During the evening there are many restaurants and bars.

Notes: Modern second floor apartment in newly constructed development. The apartment sleeps up to 6 persons comfortably and comprises: Lounge/dining room and kitchen area. The kitchen area is well fitted with a full oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining area provides seating for 6. There are two sofas in the lounge, one of which converts to a double bed. Patio doors from the lounge area lead onto a large dual aspect balcony with table and chairs. There is a TV and DVD player. A large walk-in storage cupboard with coat hooks and hanging rail is provided in the entrance hall.

Ski: The Europa Sport region which comprises Kaprun, the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and Zell-am-See is a snow-sure resort and boasts almost 200km of pistes. It is perfect for snowboarders with three top snow parks and even hosts TTR World Snowboarding competitions. The area is also great for cross-country skiers. The glacier has 18km of tracks and Zell-am-See a further 58km. Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier are perfect for beginners and intermediates, and Zell offers something for everyone, including the advanced skier or boarder. Kaprun is a very traditional Austrian resort and is perfect for families and groups. Adult lift passes cost €172-€192 for six days, and children's passes range from €86-€96.

We had a great stay in this appart - the info provided is accurate . The location of the appart is great - you can find all you need in front of the house : skybus stop , shops , skylift to beginner and intermediate slopes. The owners recommended us a couple of local restaurants and we had a great meal there.
We kindly recommend it .
