Open the windows at night and fall asleep listening to the soothing sound of the mountain creek just a few feet from your bedroom window.
While you're at the cottage, you will have the distinct feeling that you are away from it all, nestled in the beauty and tranquility of nature. Yet, you are only minutes away from Asheville and Maggie Valley.
When you are not relaxing on the front porch, you may want to explore the sights and attractions of the Greater Smoky Mountains area that have the best to offer and are conveniently located to your cottage. We are located just 15 minutes from the unique town of Waynesville with its art galleries, shops, boutiques, coffee shops and gourmet dining opportunities. Take a 25 minute drive to the town of Asheville and you have the Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn or just spend the day exploring this unique town. You certainly have your choice of colorful festivals, craft fairs, antique shops, blue grass music and clogging, horseback riding, some of the best fly fishing around, white water rafting, gem mining, golf, tennis, mountain biking and many special events throughout the year. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 20 minutes away and is convenient to so many of “mother nature’s” finest wonders of Western North Carolina’s mountains.

A great location and wonderful hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and got the 'escape' we needed.
The cottage is comfortably furnished and situated in a park like setting. A few wild turkeys in the woods add to the mountain atmosphere. The cottage is near enough to Asheville to go for lunch and also close to Waynesville, a mountain town with fine restaurants and nice shops. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our hosts were friendly and pleasant and added to the feeling of being very much at home. We sincerely recommend staying here for a great North Carolina Experience.
