I came to Ocean Springs for the first time in 1985 and thought I had found Paradise. I went back to Texas, packed up and moved here, something I never have regretted.
Peter Smith purchased this cottage in 1993
The beauty of this area is just something else. The people are super friendly and helpful.
Stayed 9 days while househunting locally. Home and neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Downtown full of shops and great restaurants is a great way to unwind. Ocean springs is a great place to stay. I have decided that I will be looking or a house right here.
We just spent a week at this wonderful property! Monica graciously welcomed us to this cozy, comfortable home and made us feel very welcome as well our our 2 little dogs that travel with us! Though cold and rainy during most of our stay we still enjoyed the beautiful gardens. If it weren't for VRBO we would have not found such a gem to stay at while visiting our kids, grandkids and great grandkids. When in Ocean Springs this place is a must to stay at! Location is awesome! We'll definitely stay here again!
Easy walking to the beach, cute shops, bars, and restaurants. We barely used our rental car! Check in and out was a breeze and Monica (the property manager) had great local poboy shop recommendations.
We stayed in this property for the annual Crusin the Coast. It was an awesome experience for us. The house was comfortable, cozy, clean and well maintained. We have stayed in motels during CTC and there is no comparison. We loved the uniqueness of the home, the outdoor decks and the tropical setting of the yard. Most of all we loved the location to everything we wanted to attend and at the end of a long day we could come "home" and relax in a peaceful setting. We have already booked for next year CTC and would recommend this property to anyone. The pictures depict the house just as it is. It is a GREAT property!!
Charming house in a very nice neighborhood. We had absolutely everything we needed in the house. The kitchen was especially well equipped. And the master bathroom is really something wonderful.
Very good location with walking distance to both beach and the restaurants in Ocean Springs center. The oak-lined streets were so beautiful!
We had a great weekend stay at the house even though it rained for the whole weekend. Monica was there when we got there and very personable. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely book it again if we go to Ocean Springs. Unfortunately, the donut shop that everyone raved about was closed for the weekend (it was 4th of July weekend). We did go to the beach between the rain and that was very close by (we did take our vehicle but we could have rode bikes).
