Trullo Paradiso is a unique property offering you a stay in a comfortable yet traditional style. A superb property dating back to the 18th century located 1km from Alberobello in the heart of Puglia. NEW: A SALT WATER SWMIIMING POOL WILL BE AVAILABLE IN 2010 12M X 6M SIMILAR TO PHOTO BELOW. There is fabulous outside space with natural stone table and chairs making outdoor living ideal for a family. The propery is set in over 6000sq metres with many olive and fruit trees. You can enjoy the fruits of the land by helping yourself to the produce during season. The trullo is a 2 bedroom unit and tastefully presented. Each room is within a trullo hence the conical shaped ceilings can be enjoyed from any room of the property. The property as a whole consists of 2 units whereby an additional bedroom can be made available to accomodate 6 people. It is located 1 km from Alberobello or a 20 minute comfortable walk if you rather enjoy the countryside.

  • Bookings can be made by contacting the owners and can be secured by 30% deposit. In cases of cancellation this is non refundable. Confirmation of booking by email will be sent on receipt of deposit. The balance is due 2 months prior to departure. Refundable breakage deposit of £200 to be paid with final payment. This will be refunded within 10 days of departure subject to property inspection.

    We are happy to accept payment in sterling and euros.either by cheque and bank transfers.

There are many natural stone tables and chairs on the large patio area. Further patio tables and chairs are available. Garden is shared by both units. Off street parking in secure enclosed parking area for several cars. Alberobello is about 20kms drive from the beautiful sandy beaches on the Adriatic coast. These family friendly public and private beaches are clean and well maintained. On the south west coast the Gulf of Taranto also has superb beaches and is about 35kms away. You have a choice of two international airports Bari or Brindisi each within easy reach to Alberobello. There are daily flights with Ryanair from Stansted or a number of Alitalia flights from Heathrow on a daily basis at reasonable prices. Alberobello is approx 1 hour by car from either airport. Car hire is available at airports or book on line with Hertz car hire.

For Wine Lovers: There are plenty of quality wine cellars (Cantina) nearby. The puglia region produces 25% of Italy's wine. Why not spend some time sampling the various wines and visit their beautiful museums dedicated to the wine industry. To name but a few Albea of Alberobello Cantina Sociale del Locorotondo Miali of Martina Franca

Golf: San Domenico Golf Course can be found at Savelletri di Fasano about a 20 minute drive from the trullo. It is a challanging 18 hole golf course with superb views over the Adriatic Sea. Open throughout the year every day from 8.30 to 7.30.

This property is on the outskirts of Alberobello, set in its own grounds surrounded by various fruit and Olive trees. It oozes charm and tranquility as you sit underneath the Pergoda,on the patio area either for Breakfast or drinks at the end of the day. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was decorated in a traditional Italian way. The Kitchen is well equiped, with everything you would need to cater for yourselves. There is SKY TV, Stereo and DVD in the Lounge and plenty of storage space. Theresa and Donagh, the owners, ensured that we had everything that we needed. They were very helpful and always happy to provide information and details about the local area. It is a short walk into Alberobello Town, where there are plenty of Bars, Shops and Restaurants. You are perfectly positioned here to explore the Region of Puglia. My family and I had a wonderful stay here and fell in love with Puglia. We will certainly be returning to this property and would highly recommend it.

Thanks to Teresa and Donnagh's warm hospitality we had a wonderful stay in Alberobello, staying in a real renovated Trullo. This is a beautiful part of the world still undiscovered by many British tourists, but will not remain undiscovered for long !
With such a well furnished and equipped Trullo we felt that we were staying with friends, particularly with the welcome pack of bread, milk, tea, coffee, fruit and wine that they provided when we arrived. For service and location we would rate this as Excellent. It is in a semi-rural setting just out of the town - it takes a few minutes to drive in or about 15-20 minutes to walk.

There are wonderful restaurants in Alberabello, particularly Casa Nova and Trulli D'Oro and the experience of walking around the whole Trulli town is fantastic - despite a bit of commercialism on one side of the town there are still parts that are relatively untouched and original. Also recommended is the unique town of Matera which is only about an hour away.
