Our Week Up North

The cottage was charming with an amazing fireplace for cool morning and evening fires. The view was outstanding as were the sunsets each and every night. The cottage was clean and the owner extremely helpful. The location, although remote, enabled us to visit Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Mackinaw Island as well as The Upper for a pastie....they each made a nice comfortable day trip. It had almost all the conveniences of home except the lack of a TV and internet and sporadic cell service...which The owner had made very clear to us prior to our arrival, so the accomodations were just as described online...We drove done to Wilderness State Park each night to walk the beach ...seeking a petoskey stone. Well, we never found a petoskey stone, but we found lots of drift wood, saw several coyotes along the way and picked up some pretty stones. Great place to walk...the dog enjoyed it, too.
Thank you for sharing your cottage and allowing our dog to come , too.
