Deb Burks purchased this cabin in 2007
It is gorgeous here, it just doesn't get any better!
The stream, the stream, the stream. Or take a walk for some of the most beautiful mountains you have ever seen.
Wonderful place to stay. There were 5 adults and 1 child in our party, and all of us were impressed with the beautiful, spacious home, sounds of the stream, magnificent views, and privacy. We were also very pleased to see that the house was very well stocked--kitchen items, linens, everything we needed and wanted. Some of our group went tubing down the stream right in front of the house. All of us enjoyed a full day whitewater rafting on one of the days, and were pleased to come back to this beautiful home in the evening. We used the grill, sat out on the porch, roasted marshmallows, went inside and watched a DVD on the huge flat screen...We had a splendid vacation and highly recommend this home and our rental agent Deb Burks.
We just got back from relaxing for 2 nights at Water's Edge. We did not wana leave!
There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and all the accessories that goes with a girls weekend.
Deb was beyond amazing!!! She allowed us to bring our Fur Babies too!
Payment was a breeze. The cabin was super clean, set up with all kitchen essentials, exactly as advertised, very comfortable beds and couches, great showers, incredible towels (Its the little things), a snazzy pool table, fire pit stocked with wood, and about 10 minutes to Hot Springs.
There aren't any neighbors. It's like having the mountains to yourself! Look no further! Highly recommended!
We had the best time with our husky at this river front cabin very well situated almost exactly midpoint from Asheville to Boone and only an hour in a half to Gatlinburg. The town of Hot Springs is close by and adorably cute! Wifi is great only downside to pay attention to is that AT&T cel phone service doesn't reach this spot, but who needs it when you are surrounded by the beautiful outdoors... We will definately be back in the summer!
We stayed 4 days at this cabin. It was exactly as it is represented, and the views were amazing! The beds are comfortable, the cabin is clean, and Deb was great to work with! This place was very relaxing and accommodating. We will definitely be planning another trip soon!
Great cabin. The stream is perfect, especially with the windows open, you can hear the running water in the house. Beds were very comfortable. Had plenty of linens and cook ware. Will be staying here again!
This 'cabin' was far beyond what we expected! Nothing rustic but wonderfully comfortable! Beautiful location. We enjoyed playing in the stream, fires in the fire pit and strolling down the lane. Comfortable and abundant linens and the kitchen was great! Loved the island with all the easy access storage for our goods we brought. It was instantly claimed. Y my grandsons as 'their' table! We love this property and hope to return soon! Hot Springs is nearby and always a delight! Hot Springs Spa and Hot Springs Rafting Company are always a delight to deal with on our trips! The property manager is a dream to work with! A 100% positive experience!!
My family of 5, including two children and my father, stayed for a weekend at your cabin. The location was ideal. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We did some hiking and my kids enjoyed splashing around in the river. We enjoyed the close proximity to Hot Springs and so many activities. Deb made a recommendation for horseback riding at Sandy Bottom Trail Rides and we had a great time. We also enjoyed a really nice lunch at Stony Knob Cafe. The cabin was very clean and had most everything we needed. We are already talking about when we can come again! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
Hot Springs has the only natural hot water mineral springs in North Carolina.
