LAKEFRONT FAMILY HOME , CLOSE TO EVERYTHING 7TH NIGHT FREE

Everything was great. Took the two kids and wife to the lake with two stow-away kids for the week. Launched the boat at the nearest free public boat landing on Fsih Hatchery Road, about 10 minutes away, and left it in the water until we left. There is a covered overhang off the large floating dock which protects the boat from 99% of all rain that might affect it. Excellent bumpers on dock keep baot safe also. There is very little wave activity right there to affect the boat or the dock. There is a large add-on swimming dock attached to the boat house which is excellent for swimming, night or day, no boat traffic, deep enough but not too deep. Well lit dock with floodlight also for night fishing. Nice gas bar-b-que pit, plenty of stack chairs and sun loungers, sun porch, covered parking. Lake is right there, no walking far or steep grades to deal with. Double wide drive way with a flat area off to side to park a boat trailer if needed. Almost at end of street with no thru traffic, no steep grades or hard turns. Safe neighborhood, no problems at all, very quiet, no partiers all over the place, good area for kids. Inside is fine, no odors, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well stocked, quiet. I would stay there again whenever possible. There are a few shallow spots way out in the lake, (not near this house). I suggest you find them on Google earth, (look at historical photos of when the lake is drained down a little each winter also). This will keep you from messing up a prop on the rocky bottom. The Lake is huge and there are some shallow areas all throughout the lake that are not marked at all. Lots of stuff in town for the kids to do; Pirates Cove mini-golf (about 3 miles), go-karts, stores, restaurants, theme park with water park, horseback riding, mid-america museum is great for kids!!! You'll need a car to get around to other attractions, stores, etc.. Would be great for older people/romatic/family/pet. HAVE FUN!!!!
