Las Higueras Vacation Rental villa

The description of the property was very accurate. The property was very well maintained, it was excellent I have to say..light airy, modern, very comfortable, very clean. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Excellent customer service provided by them and their property management company on site. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends. The resort was also very well maintained, secure, with great facilities. All the restaurants on site were very nice with a good range of food. We visited the ports of Cartagena & Mazarron both worth a visit, with plenty to see and do there. Local villages nice and beaches. We had a very restful, excellent holiday - the villa was the icing on the cake, we could not have asked for better.
Just one remark we could make would be to recommend that better maps were available on site giving the actual layout of the whole golf resort regarding the restaurants, shops, golf courses, etc the map provided was not great.
The information provided by the property management company regarding the onsite and off site restaurants was good but no addresses of where they were, a bit vague considering the map was of poor quality... phone numbers of each restaurant were provided though!
But overall a very positive experience.

We visited in Feb 2009. We were very, very impressed the second we walked thru the front door, the decor is beautiful.

The fixtures and fittings are of high standard and the villa has everything you need. Washing machine, cooker, dishwasher, barbecue, all English TV channels thru Sky, gas fire for the colder nights!

The private pool and garden is lovely. Admittedly when we were there the area was empty and so very, very quiet but you can imagine it would be private and peaceful in the summer too.

A hire car is a must, La Manga club is huge, but driving in the area was very easy.

I would recommend this property to small families and couples, you will not be dissapointed. There are 2 supermarkets on site, loads to do. We actuallty stayed in 6/7 nights and enjoyed the villa and its pool!!

The villa was much bigger than it appears on the web site, the bathrooms are excellent and luxorious.

Good communication with the owners and the keys were easy to obtain at the management centre.

We are definately going to book this villa again, if you like golf, tennis and football La manga club is worth a visit. It's expensive though, so find the supermarkets and make use of the villas superb kitchen and barbecue.
