Spacious and quiet house set privately in its own five acres

This beautiful self-catering villa is hidden on a hill with stunning views overlooking vineyards, hazelnut plantations and, in the distance, the Swiss Alps. With four bedrooms (sleeping 9-10 people), Casa di Gallo is a relaxing get-away for people who enjoy home from home comforts, light and spacious rooms and comfortable beds with luxury bedding. There are lovely walks directly from the house through the Moscato vineyards, or up to the local village. Or just relax on a sunlounger, enjoy the views and wildlife, play table tennis, darts or petanque (boules) and enjoy al fresco meals under the vine-covered pergola with a cold glass of Prosecco and some of the local foods from the wonderful Italian food markets.

The area is well known for its fantastic wines; Barolo, Barbaresco and Asti and great food: including the white Truffle, Grissini, Nutella, and some fabulous cheeses. Explore these vineyards or visit the 'underground cathedrals' in nearby Canelli. Visit the surrounding medieval villages, castles and experience local Italian festivals. Swim in Europe's largest swimming pool or in natural rivers, drive to the coast for a day at the beach or visit the famous resorts of Camogli and Portofino. Shop at the colourful food markets, visit antique markets or go designer clothes shopping in Turin or Milan. Eat gelati, hot chocolate, freshly made pasta or just relax in the garden playing boules (petanque), table tennis, exploring the wildlife and the woods.

Thank you so much for letting us all share in your beautiful Italian home. We had a wonderful time in England catching up with family and friends and then it just continued on to Casa Di Gallo where a lot of fun was had by all.
We were in Canelli for the wine festival and took full advantage. The people were lovely all around the area and very friendly. All the information, left at the house about the area, was very much appreciated.
Thanks again and we will definitely recommend Casa di Gallo to anyone that wants to spend time in the beautiful area of Piedmonte.

We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay! With five kids ranging from 1-8, this house was well-stocked with toys, games and other diversions to keep them busy. As for the adults, we LOVED the views, outside seating areas and provisions - nice wine glasses, and worry-free set-up. Thank you for providing us a home away from home.

Your beautiful house provided the perfect setting for our joint week of fun & laughter and enjoying Bella Italia. The house is so spacious and tastefully decorated and child-proof (which means the children can be children and the parents can relax!)
