This typical old stone Mallorcan farm house is about 200 years old and was exquisitely renovated in the year 2000. It has 6 acres of land, many fruit trees, an organic kitchen garden, vineyards and olive orchard. The part of the house for rent is the whole top floor. It is an apartment with its own entrance – completely separate from and not overlooked by the owner´s part on the ground floor. It is ideally located 5 min drive from Inca, 20 minutes away from the sea, and in the rural heart of the island. There are 4 villages not more than 4 km from the house with old stone houses, cafés and small shops. Staying in this tastefully decorated house gives you the feeling of stepping back in time to the old years of Mallorca, before the acceleration of modern life, but with the comforts of today. Far from main roads, you can spend some days in a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Also available for use of guests is a mosaic-tiled swimming-pool, converted from a 100 year old water cistern.

The house is ideally situated, right in the middle of the island, close to the Tramuntana mountains. Being so central, the whole island is very accessible for exploration in all directions. The small village of Moscari is 2 km away, and 3 km away is Inca, the second biggest city in Mallorca, with all its shops bars and restaurants. The nearest beach, Alcudia is only 20 minutes away by car. All nearby villages in the North are worth a visit, each lovely in their own way. Alcudia, with its lovely beaches, Roman ruins and bird sanctuary. Pollensa, an artists' town with a lovely old center, golf course and various beautiful beaches. Campanet, a typical small village, and many others. Walks around the area are highly recommended, since the countryside still preserves the old taste of rural life. There are many mountain walks within 7-8 minutes car ride.

A glimpse of paradise

We spent two weeks in this lovely and peaceful abode in the Mallorcan countryside. The place, a nice traditional finca, has been very tastefully refurbished by the owner. Everyday we enjoyed eating our breakfast on the spacious balcony with its superb view on the romantic garden and the Tramontana mountains in the background. Like in paradise the kaki and pomegranates grew into our mouths and the surrounding orchards invited to beautiful strolls. A big thank you to Tim and Marisa who were great hosts!

wonderful time

We have spent a wonderful time at this lodge in June. The spot is remote and has beautiful views to the mountains. The appartment has very nice furniture and style, the pool is lovely, evenings are very quiet, you will only hear frogs and some goats. Still, villages are close (within approx 3kms) and have good tapas bars and restaurants. The landlord Tim and his Spanish wife are the best, very friendly and helpful people.

Last but not least, they work together with a Mallorca based rental agent, who takes excellent care of paperwork and guiding you to the location.

Superb House in the Countryside

A very nice Mallorcan house. The owner paid attention to a lot of details when renovating this house. He also grows his own grapes,olives and vegetables. It's a quiet place at the countryside, but only a few minutes from Inca or other places to visit. The coast is about 20. min. away.

You rent the 1st floor with a nice terrace from which you admire the garden, the hills and the sunset.
A lovely place to stay. We will be back.
Owner's Response: I'm very happy the guests were so happy. It is very important for us that people who come to our house have really nice quiet holidays, and it's wonderful that was the case.
