GREAT AREA IN CENTRAL LONDON
I've stayed in the lovely Pink Palace the first week of july and it was just perfect.
4 girls in an ultimate pink appartment in central London :D
I saw the pictures online before we went but it was bigger then I expected and I love how everything was pink!
Before I got there the contact with the owners was perfect and while I was there I only needed to text or call and there was immediate response.
The beds were comfy, the bath/shower was great. We had a squirl in the tree behind the house, the tube station is around the corner, so is our fave M&S food centre. You can walk to High Street Kensington, lovely shops all around.. what more can you wish for?
We went there as we were going to see the Take That concerts in Wembley. But we are already thinking of coming back again. We really, really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for everything, the nice chats, the cupcakes, the wonderful service, carrying our heavy suitcases and most of all for renting that lovely appartment to us.
with regards, Sarah
I stayed in the Pink Palace for four days and truly, it is a lovely location to stay in while in London. Stunning exterior and it is so nice to stay in a residential area that is so beautiful.
The flat itself is surprisingly spacious. Two of us were visiting London and it is really well equipped so that you can eat in if you like. What is a real bonus about staying here is that they provide the small but very important things like coffee, oil for cooking and the delph, cutlery and glassware are all of a really high standard. You can tell that they want their guests to feel valued.
There is a very spacious bathroom with a lovely shower and again, they provide shampoo, hairdryer etc so you don't need to worry about these things which is really useful when you are only carrying hand luggage and have the restriction of liquids being less than 100ml.
Pati gave us many suggestions for dining out and our favourite, by a long shot, was Mr. Wing - an Indian restaurant about five minutes walk from the flat. It was without doubt, the best Indian meal I ever ate and I highly recommend it.
The tube station is a very short walk away and a very convenient M&S is just two minutes walk.
This is such an ideal location and if you are travelling to London, I highly recommend it.
The personalised service from both Chris and Pati is superb and they really DO CARE that you enjoy your stay.
My daughter and I stayed at the Pink Palace for a week in May. We had such a nice time. The apartment is located in a really nice area of town and pretty close to the metro. Chris, the owner met us when we checked in, helped us with our luggage, showed us around the apartment including making sure we had access to WiFi (very simple) and even gave us a tour of the neighborhood. The day we checked out he went as far as walking us to the Underground Station. Way exceeded our expectations. The apartment was very cute and comfortable. I thought the apartment's weekly rate was very reasonably priced as well. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.
We had a lovely stay in the Pink Palace. As others have mentioned, the location was great - off the main drag, yet close to everything. The amenities listed were accurate, and they even had plug adapters and a hair dryer. The furnishings were nice, clean, and high quality, though obviously worn.
The initial contact once in London was a little hectic, as we had asked previously about checking in early and never received a response and then they said check-in wasn't until 3pm (15:00), but they worked everything out as best they could upon our arrival and we only had to kill about an hour while the flat was being cleaned. We very much appreciated them accommodating our early arrival.
Definitely check out The Troubadour, right around the corner on Old Brompton Road - excellent coffee and a tasty breakfast.
Just a tip: if you have an unlocked mobile phone, bring it with you. You can purchase prepaid SIM cards very cheaply, but it will only work if your phone is unlocked.
My family had stayed here for 9 days. It is a fantastic apartment in a great location. Near to the tube station in walking distance and tesco. The owner was very friendly, wait for us when we were a bit late, also explain everything about the apartment. The apartment are up to date with all the facilities required: washing machine, tv, dvd player, WIFI and etc. The deposit payment was through PAYPAL, which is safe. On the arrival day, after we see the apartment and see everything we make the balance payment. I will definitely want to go back!!!!
My family and I (2 adults and a 8-year-old boy) just finished a 7-night stay at the Pink Palace and found it really a bargain. Earl's Court tube station is just 5-minute away. The surrounding is quiet and safe and the apartment itself is clean and just like the photos shown. The host really gave us a warm welcome and introduced us around. The wifi in the room did not work, however a 3G stick was available. The mezzanine was not that of enough head space so might be an issue if you have a group of more than 3 adults.
Central heating and 24h hot water supply are always there, which is very important to people like us coming from Subtropic Zone. The bath tub in the bath room is the thing you should not miss - great relief after a all-day-walk-around-citycentre.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils. Very convenient either cooking by ourselves or eating in any hundreds of restaurants around the corner.
Pink Palace is indeed a good place to stay with good cost/performance ratio. If you are looking for a stay for a week or so, stop checking the B&B in London and go for this lovely apartment!
