Wonderful property in a wonderful location beside the beautiful Fintra Strand. This lovely house has convenient parking outside the door and a terraced deck area complete with table and chairs. The ground level consists of a spacious diining area, beautifully furnished lounge with fireplace and double doors to the garden. The well appointed modern kitchen comes complete with all mod cons. There is a double bedroom at this level with en-suite shower facilities as well as a handy cloakroom wc. Upstairs there is a quiet mezzanine reading/relaxing area and two further spacious bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities. There is also a large well appointed bathroom at this level. This cottage sleeps 6 very comfortably and is available all year round. A short stroll brings one to the fantastic Fintra Beach(Blue Flag). There is also an excellent Bar and Restaurant in this exclusive development. The lovely fishing harbour town of Killybegs is just under 5 kms away. Golf nearby.

This is the most beautiful location. Fintra Bay is located just outside the lovely harbour town of Killybegs. The cottage is located within the exclusive and private development of Fintra Bay just off the Killybegs Road. A 2 minute stroll takes one to the really spectacular Fintra Strand - ideal for families. There is no end of gorgeous places to see and do in Donegal - the scenery is magnificent and the people are so friendly. The town of Ardara is nearby where there are some lovely restaurants and bars which host regular irish music evenings. There are challenging golf courses within short drives as well as many lovely walks. This is an ideal location for a family or a golfing holiday. Dublin Airport is the main Irish airport, but there are smaller local airports in Knock, Sligo and in Donegal.

Addional information:: This cottage is set within a group of Irish cottages and very close to the beach. There are beautiful walks nearby which the owner will be delighted to tell you about. Other well known attractions include the renowned St John's point Peninsula, the Blue Stack Mountains, the famous Slieve League Cliffs and of course the glencolmcille Gealthact (Irish speaking area) not to mention the nearby Fintra Beach with its blue flag status. Donegal town is also well worth a visit and has lots of shops and restaurants. To the north is the picturesque village of Ardara, the Maghera Caves and Narin/Portnoo coastal villages. There is a supermarket locally in Killybegs just 1.5 kms away.

Golfing.: There are many very beautiful and challenging golf courses in the area which the owner will be delighted to tell you about.

Stunning beach and sea views

We have just returned from a lovely week here. The house is great- extremely clean, comfortable with excelent facilities and the beach (on your doorstep, literally) is fantastic. The weather was a bit mixed but hey, its the west coast of Ireland. Some of the local sights we'd recommend are the Slieve League sea cliffs, beach at Narin, Nancy's bar at Ardara and Kitty Kelly's restaurant (very close to the house). We wouldn't rush back to the town of Bundoran though (a bit tacky).
