Unique Luxurious Classic Colonial Property with Modern Twist. This unique property is one of the oldest on the island and overlooks the historic settlement of Governor’s Harbour with a view of the ocean and Cupid’s Cay. This one acre property is located on the top of Buccaneer Hill a couple of minutes walking from town and five from probably the most beautiful beach in Eleuthera, French Leave Beach (formerly Club Med beach). Shops, Markets, restaurants are all a few minutes away. The property consists of a two level main house and two guest cottages all of which have been completely restored maintaining the traditional Bahamian architectural style. The grounds are fully and beautifully landscaped. Bougainvillea, jasmine, Bismarck and coconut palms grace the well kept garden. Kitchen fully equipped in stainless steel appliances (fridge, dishwasher and Bosch oven). Guest bathroom, with Duravit shower by Philippe Starck and Laundry (washer and dryer). Aircon,wifi, hi-fi.

We have travelled all over the world and have stayed in some of the finest accommodations you can imagine. The house compares to some of the finest of them. It is more how you feel when you are there. The quality of all the fixtures and fitting are superior to most holiday homes we have been to. We found ourselves feeling at home and secluded whilst in the knowledge that everything is a stones throw away. We were gently guided by a lovely English lady who greeted us like a long lost friend to the best restaurants and excursions and we were pleased with everything we ate and did. Eleuthera is also one of the most beautiful places on earth the people were lovely, Its true you do get what you pay for and there is nobody bothering you to buy stuff what a refreshing change. If we was not staying at Belmont house I think we would have visited it just for the history of the build and the design of it all. Thank you
