A lovely time in Homer
Many thanks to Kate and Victoria for opening up their comfortable get away on the hill above Kachemak Bay. To wake each morning and take in the fabulous view with soaring eagles was a delight. We were welcomed home one evening by a young bull moose standing in the driveway. The sunsets were glorious keeping in mind that you needed to stay up til nearly midnight to see the sunset!
Homer and environs has so much to offer with fishing, birding, hiking, etc., that it was great to have a place to call home and to really feel at home after our days of going out exploring.
Kate made herself readily available via phone if we had questions, Victoria supplied us with a couple of special request kitchen items and Betsy the wonder pup always had a waggy tail. We look forward to our next time in Homer.
