This stunning lodge by the sea offers a peak of the ocean, fabulous sunsets on the deck, a private hot tub and great beach access!

The main level of the home is on the second floor with a great room and a large open kitchen. The great room features a prominent gas fireplace that acts as the centerpiece. It is perfect for those cool crisp coastal nights. The great room features a flat screen TV with DirecTv and a DVD player as well so it is a great place to unwind after a day on the beach. The kitchen features a large amount of counter space so it is easy to prepare a great meal that everyone can help with!

There is a bedroom with a full bed on the main floor as well and a full bathroom, so it is great for those who don't like stairs. As you walk up the elegant staircase to the top level of the house, the master bedroom has a large king bed and a private balcony. It also has a luxurious bathroom that has plenty of space to get ready for the day. The second bedroom on the upper level features a queen bed so it can sleep two people as well. The balcony off the master suite features the best ocean view from the house. It is partially obstructed by trees and a house but you can still see and hear the ocean from the balcony.

The lower level of the home has a bedroom that provides the perfect setup for the kids. There are two twin beds in the room and a separate TV and DVD player where they can watch their favorite movies.

The home also features a work desk in the kitchen area, wireless internet throughout and air conditioning so it is comfortable year round. There is an elevator that can be accessed upon special requests if necessary due to mobility issues. It is generally locked off from guest use to prevent wear and tear and needs to be previously arranged.

There are plenty of entertainment options inside but the outside is not to be forgotten! The large deck provides an excellent place for the whole family to gather on those sunny days and the private hot tub on the back porch provides an excellent relaxation option. The wooded area behind the house adds to the tranquility.

The home is ideally located in the Twin Rocks area of Rockaway Beach and it is a short flat walk to the beach through a small wooded section of the neighborhood. It takes about 3 minutes to get from the front door to the sand by foot. Due to coastal erosion, the beach access point can be a bit steep at times depending on the tide but it is a fairly easy jump or step down for most visitors.

Rockaway Beach is full of fun activities for the whole family. From the famous Kite Festival to a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display, there is always an event to look forward to! The town has a wealth of dining options, ice cream shops and an arcade for the kids!

Fabulous Spring Vacation

The house was great for us. We have four children ages 17, 15, 4, and 2 and the house was well suited for all of us. My in laws also stayed with us for a few days. We took our dogs with us who seemed to love the house and really loved the beach. The hot tub was a great bonus as is the proximity to the beach. We all loved the amazing beach and walks in the woods. Everyone enjoyed going into Tillamook and visiting the cheese factory. The house was clean and well stocked with linens. We could have used some larger pots and pans when cooking dinner for everyone. We plan to rent the house again. The house is really nice an the location is amazing.

First Vacation with Babies

Each year, my wife and i have a group of friends that go to the coast or the mountains to unwind for the weekend. This was the first year we had children with us...and everything went extremely well. Although the house has a lot of stairs, for our purposes it was great. Our kids are still young enough to not crawl around, so that wasn't too big of an issue but I could see it being one in the future for our group. Otherwise, the house was fantastic. Everyone had a great time and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. The kitchen and hot tub are the areas where we spent most of our time and they were both perfect for our needs. The only other suggestion i could offer would be that the beds in the basement be a queen bed, but that would be it.

Great house in an upscale development; clean, spacious. A couple of minutes to a fantastic beach with lots of privacy, walking, and bonfires. We'll be back next year!

Great time with friends
We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The home accommodated our large group perfectly and the jacuzzi was great! The location is perfect! Quiet and somewhat wooded which we loved! The trail to the beach was wooded and the kids loved it! Quiet, uncrowded beach. We would definitely stay again! And thanks so much for allowing our furry friend to join us!

Great home for families, lots of space.

Nice neighborhood, friendly neighbors. We loved the privacy of the home, it was always quiet and the beach was not crowded, we loved the long flat beach that seemed like you could walk for miles. Well maintained home, it had everything we needed except for food and clothes. I would love to see updated photos as the home is nicer than the pictures make it appear. The kitchen layout was perfect for family cooking and having a prep sink made it easy for taco night! My grandson will always remember "his" birthday at the beach home. Thanks for great family memories.
