Photos and Description of the Silikou vacation bungalow rental A self catering charming studio. All Cyprus has to offer.

A charming, open plan, stone built, self catering studio, full of character for romantic and unforgettable holidays. Situated in the middle of the village, next to the local tavern, for those who want to try the famous meze and mix with locals. Foreigners, are very welcome to the village, and most of the people speak English. You will find our village hospitality will play a big part in your holiday, because everywhere you go you will feel like home. The cottage, has a court yard at the front, with a table and four chairs, a stone arch water feature and a barbecue area. There is full privacy since the road ends there. You enter to the court yard through a gate, and from the court yard to the entrance of the house. The studio consists of an open plan kitchen- living room with a double traditional cast iron bed and a bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen is on the left as you enter and the living area on the right. A traditional fireplace is in the corner of the living area.

The beautiful village of Silikou, is situated at a height of 650 metres up in the mountains, surrounded by many valleys, fruit trees and vine yards that were traditionally irrigated by three big springs. The village is known for its wine, zivania, commandaria, raisins, olives and almond trees. The commandaria festival in july every year, is a must for everyone. The nearest town is Limassol only 20 mnutes drive from the village with sandy and blue flag beaches, water parks, and lots of places of interest. (A tourist map is available in the living area)

the traditional stone cottage was beautiful,
Traditional in every way.
very clean and well maintained. the owner was on hand to help with any problems,
the village is in the hills and the local tavern was good for meals and good value for money.i would recommend this property to anybody as it was the most enjoyable stay. the village of Silikou was in a great area to get to all the hills walks and waterfalls. we hired a car which helped. overall the cottage is a place i would stay again and anybody else who wants a village scenery and quiet area you must stay there.

Most beautifull cottage I ever been to. You feel like at home. It's excellent for a couple or small family. I enjoyed every momement with my girlfriend when we celebrated birthday. Also owners are very nice and friendly people. Top class. Will go again as soon as possible :o). Many Thanks to Marios and his wife.
