Benidorm Vacation Rental house: Sierra Cortina, nr Finestrat

Having just returned from a week at this property I have nothing but positive things to say about the house, the complex and the area.

The property has everything a couple or a family with up to two young children could require: a spacious and comfortable living area leading out to your patio and garden with a very nice view of the Med; a modern and sizeable kitchen with adjacent utility room; downstairs shower room and two upstairs bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (the master bedroom has its own balcony).

The community itself is very secure and clean which is very reassuring for those with children with each property enjoying plenty of privacy. The pool is a ten second walk from your front door, it's excellent and well-maintained as are the surrounding gardens. Our four year old son had a great time enjoying the pool, as did my wife and I, and playing safely in the gardens.

Should you wish to get out and about the community is well served by the local bus service which is very efficient and can get you to the likes of the supermarkets, Terra Mitica and Terra Natura in minutes although we found that an evening stroll down the hill to the Centro Commercial could be done in around 15-20 minutes. Located here are connecting bus services taking you to the local beach (recommended) or into Benidorm itself. There is also a costal rail service here which can take you into Benidorm, Alicante and other nearby destinations.

Benidorm looks close in the photos but only due to the sheer scale of the place. In actual fact, the property is peacefully perched on the foothills of the Sierras overlooking the coast and you'll only hear the crickets in the evening! With your patio, lovely climate and the view you'll be inclined to eat-in and take it easy.

We found car-hire not necessary with the good local transport network and as reps Chris and Steve provided us with transportation to the airport at Alicante both on our arrival and departure for a reasonable fee. Chris and Steve will also assist you in anyway possible throughout your stay and it was a real pleasure to meet them both, they couldn't be more helpful.

I would recommend this property for couples and small families looking to get away for a relaxing break at a location that is peaceful and secure by day and night with whatever entertains you only a short journey away by bus or taxi.

It would be a pleasure to return here and we may well do.
