Very welcoming and well appointed

This apartment was very well appointed with great views and very welcoming on-site owners. There was just the 2 of us but it was plenty big enough if there had been 4 as there are 2 good sized bedrooms and heaps of storage as well as a huge fridge freezer and washer and drier.
We really valued having the clothes washing facilities as we'd been on a birding tour first and really needed to wash lots of clothes and having them also meant you could rinse and spin your swimming things after you came home from the beach. And unlike many a self catering place they had all the soap, washing liquid etc etc provided too.
The property is lovely and just as per the photos. The pool was almost, but not quite, finished but that didn't bother us as we swam every day at Castara Bay - which for us was the best beach as it is relatively close and is gently shelving.
We were given home made bread, muffins, cake, yoghurt along with milk, cereal, butter, juice, jam (jelly), etc. and home grown fruit - e.g. passion fruit.
So whilst it was self catering the provision for breakfast was excellent. We had dinner with Roger and Annie the night we arrived and as we are vegetarian they made us a veggie meal taking into account a range of foods I also cannot eat.
We were only staying 3 nights so having so much provided was a real bonus.
I cannot emphasise just how friendly and welcoming Roger and Annie are. They will offer you a chat and a drink, but if you just want to be left alone you have your own private space.
We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay centrally within short driving of beaches, towns etc. If you like birds plenty visit the garden - ant shrikes, house wren, yellow bellied eleanias, blue grey tanagers, chachalacas, to name just a few and had views over wooded hills and valleys which were visited by orange winged parrots and out to sea where the frigate birds soared.
We hired a car, not sure if you could get by without one as we didn't check evening buses. We had a car big enough to put all our luggage in the boot (trunk) out of sight, and the car was a little large for the track to the villa and the parking, but that wasn't a major problem. With such good clothes washing facilities you don't need to take too much with you so less suitcases means smaller car posible!
They do have 3 dogs and a cat but they are unbelievably well behaved. I am not used to dogs but found them to be no problem at all.
