Vintage and charming
Wonderful experience. This is an authentic antique home but with all the modern conveniences.
Owners immaculately furnished it for a full, fun time away from home and away from the hectic, "real" world. It is everything it is advertised to be and more. No surprises, lovely linens and plenty of kitchen supplies. There was even a wonderful bottle of red wine waiting for us on the kitchen counter. And unlike the courtesy bar at a hotel room, it was free! And--drum roll--there was a bottle opener next to it. Also, while taking a nap on the sofa one lazy afternoon after visiting a few wineries, I awoke to the sound of horse hoofs on the pavement. A surreal moment when I looked out the window to see a beautiful antique horse drawn carriage clopping down the street. No, not a "too much wine" moment , but another charming experience had in this beautiful vintage home.
