Top notch rental experience

We can't give enough positive praise about this cabin. If you're browsing for a mountain getaway and reading this review, look no further....you've found your vacation rental!
My husband and I have rented quite a few cabins over the years, but any past vacations don't hold a flame to our experience at The Owens cabin! We arrived at night, and when we walked in and flipped on the light in the massive entryway, we dropped our bags and said "wow!". As we continued on our adventure through this huge home, we became more and more impressed with each corner we turned. Every room exudes an attention-to-detail that can't be ignored. It's obvious the Owens love their cabin, but they also love to whole-heartedly share their home with their renters. We've rented cabins where all cabinets and doors are under lock and key except for one or two labeled areas marked "renters". To me, labels and inaccessible areas of a home that I pay a lot of money to enjoy, make me feel like I'm not really welcomed. You won't feel like a renter in this cabin! The Owens really know how to make you feel like you're at home, and not just a pesky renter.
When we pack for a cabin getaway, I usually leave my husband rolling his eyes at the things I insist on bringing. To my surprise, this cabin is the most well appointed cabin that we've ever rented! Our boxes stayed half packed in the garage because everything we needed was made available to us. When we weren't cooking on the fabulous gas range, we were lounging in the relaxing, spacious living room, playing pool downstairs, fishing in the surrounding lakes, or just relaxing on the back patio. I could talk about amenities, luxuries and things to do all day long when it comes to this cabin. This rental gave us everything we have at home, and then some. Trust me, you won't want to go leave!
So glad that we've found our home away from home. This cabin is truly a treasure in the woods. I've stayed in vrbo rentals that are priced two times higher than this cabin, and they offer two times less than what you'll get here. Working with the Owens really rounded out this entire experience. Buddy makes sure that all of your questions are answered and really goes out of his way to make sure that his renters are taken care of. I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my family and friends! It was a pleasure working with them from start to finish...there's no question, they've found a forever-renter in our family!!
