Warm and welcoming, ten kilometers away from Siena, this is an ancient, XVth century countryside villa, recently restored by a sensitive and art historically conscious architect and designer who has chosen to preserve the very best of the Tuscan tradition where nature and culture have mingled for centuries. The antique spaces have been reinvigorated, made more comfortable and personalized whilst using traditional local materials, rough stone, terra cotta, wrought iron, wood.It is the ideal place for an inspirational holiday: stroll to the village and back, dine at the pizzeria and trattoria nearby, go for a swim in the nearby Merse river or horse-back riding in the local Riding Centre. Riding bicycles on the country or on the hills. (paths start just from the villa) You’re a short bus ride away from Sienna and a walk away from the larger village of Rosia which boasts shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy everything you might need. It is ideally suited to visit truly legendary Tuscany.

Apartment LEONARDO, 100-140 m2 (4 -6 persons). Located on the first floor this apartment has exceptional quality of spaces and furniture, with a double height living area which benefits from a view on the fields;the kitchen has a large fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, and a contemporary design gas cooker. Teak furniture to ralax and dining table accommodates 10 people. Two double rooms with a view and interior stylish fittings. Bathroom with shower, stone water basin and travertine finishing. All spaces are personalized whilst using traditional local materials, rough stone, terra cotta, wrought iron, wood. Central heating.. The guests use the outdoor facilities of the central courtyard. NB : Leonardo hosts 4 persons but its entrance, living room and kitchen can be shared with apartment TIZIANO (1 en suite bedroom). This allows to accommodate large families or friends who wish to share the living area while keeping their own privacy.

The villa is ideally suited to visit truly legendary Tuscany: Sienna, Chianti, Val d’Orcia, ancient villages, medieval cloisters and landscapes which have inspired the world’s greatest artists. The nearest airport is Pisa or Florence, which Ryan Air, Easy Jet and other air companies fly you to from every major city in the world. Hiring a car is the best option afterwards but there are plenty of trains. We’ll be happy to explain the options.
