Kiltale Holiday homes and farm is described by guests as a family heaven, the house and the cottage have their own private sites and gardens. Butercup Chalet is nestled away in a nice secluded site on our farm. It is the ideal place for couples who want to relax and get away from it all, surrounded by nice trees and green fields with the sheep grazing. The Loft, The Dairy and The Stable are three seperate smaller units in our converted milking parlour. On site there is a fully equipped playground, playhouse with pool, snooker air hockey tables and more all free to guests. There is an outdoor football park lots of animals and pets, sheep, baby lambs to bottle feed in the Spring, goats and kid goats to bottle feed in the summer, dogs, cats, kittens and our little reindeer. Here you will find something to suit everybody young and old, children and adults absolutely enjoy every minute spent on our farm its so exciting. A hands on farm experience.. Kiltale Farm Cottages just beyond Dublin are ideally located for touring the many historic sites of Meath and also the wider Dublin area only 20 miles away. We are conveniently locted between the N2 , N3 and N4, only 4 miles from the famous heritage town of Trim, 8 miles from the Hill of Tara, 2 miles from Bective Abbey and 18 miles from Newgrange , 15 miles Slane, 14 miles from Navan, 18 miles from Kells. The oldest remaining Norman castle where the film Braveheart was filmed is locted in Trim, and Newgrange is older than the Pyramids and Stonhenge, and the Hilll of Tara which once was seat of the High Kings of Ireland. The River Boiyne is only 2 miles away rated the best trout fishing river in Ireland/. Fairyhouse home of the Irish Grand National i10 miles. Beach 30 miles. An idea base for touring many of the counties of Ireland - Giants Causeway can be done in a day trip. Also many of the other counties including Galway, Knock in Co. Mayo, Kildare, Sligo and many more.

  • Meeting room on site available for group activities, painting/art, yoga and many other activities. Beautiful peaceful farm walks along our tourist friendly farm. Guests return time after time to get away from it all and just relax in the peaceful countryside. If you wish to visit the city, you can just hop on the bus outside our gate. An excellent service.

  • This is a very large house, and the house along with our smaller cottages are often rented by groups, they use the house as a focal point where they get together for their meals and chats. It is renowned for its large farmhouse table that seats up to 10 people along with our dining table thats seats up to 8. Very homely atmosphere. Our new art room and meeting room is a great attraction to the many groups who come to visit the Hill of Tara, Trim Castle and Newgrange. We welcome Tutors with their own groupos and we and our staff will assist the organisation of the Painting/Art course in every way we can. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed with a wide variety of subject mater from heritage to thatched cottages to the many farm scenes. There are a wide range of restaurants and cafés in the nearby heritage town of Trim. Meals can be delivered to the holiday homes at any time of the day.
