Casa Sandra is the ideal holiday accommodation whether you are a party of four or ten. Recently built to a very high standard (2003) your holiday environment comprises of the main house with stunning views over the Portuguese countryside, a private walled pool area and pool, an eating and BBQ area with toilet facilities all set in three quarters of an acre of olive fig trees and other fruit trees. It is a spectacular property with all mod cons for complete relaxation * 4 bedrooms, two double bed, one with twin beds and one with two bunk beds. * Kitchen with fan assisted oven, microwave, dishwasher, tall fridge freezer, toaster etc. * 2 Bathrooms one ensuite, one with bath and shower. * Private pool with giant umbrellas and plenty of furniture. * Barbecue and garden furniture * UK and Portuguese Television Channels. Casa Sandra is within easy walking distance of the local mini markets and cafe/restaurants where good value and good cheer are always on offer

Throughout the summer there are local festivals, always accompanied by barbecued chicken, fish frequently accompanied by live music and other entertainments. These are flavoured by the fresh evening air and continue well into the next morning. Then, in October there are dried fruit festivals with an unbelievable range of dried fruits and nuts to store for the winter. Then later in the month there is a national equestrian event at Golegã where both the horses and the riders provide a spectacle to delight. There are castles, potteries, dinosaur footprints and beautiful caves plus an antique olive press museum to see. There are donkey rides and water sports; horse riding, golf, wine tasting and good food and drinks amongst very friendly people.
