Paraiso del Mar is an elegant private beachfront residence built around a courtyard in the Mexican hacienda design overlooking white beaches and the Sea of Cortez. The beach house has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas in the center with two spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms on both sides. Sliding glass doors and windows provide a spectacular view of the ocean. Two more large connecting bedrooms with their own bathrooms are in a separate house in the courtyard with separate entrances for privacy . One bedroom has a view of the ocean and the other has a view of the courtyard.

This is a great home with lots of privacy for families or couples because of the outside entrances to each room with sitting areas and great views of the ocean and tiled steps to the beach. There are extensive patios for dining or relaxing on the bancos and toasting marsh mellows in the fire pit. Magnificent brick arched ceilings (bovedas), molding, stained glass windows, Saltillo tile floors and beautiful Mexican tile adorn the rooms.

Air conditioning, TV with VCR/DVD, ceiling fans, dishwasher and disposal in kitchen with gas stove. Recycling hot water lines provide for quick hot water from the large gas water heater. This is a quiet house in a quiet part of Las Conchas where the sandy beach extends far out at low tide and is free of rocks. We are three miles from the security gate and 6 miles from town.

This is a great home for families. couples and reunions with lots to see and do. The ocean and beaches are unbeatable with great restaurants and shopping in town with friendly people. This is a safe, small town.

About The Owner

Judy and Ed are from Ohio and have lived many parts of the US. We have lived here in Penasco since 1996 and love living on the beach. We love to travel, but this is our favorite place in the world. We like to swim, sail and walk the beach. We love Mexico and the Mexican people. We enjoy having families and couples vacation here.

The Owner purchased this house in 1999
Why The Owner chose Puerto Penasco

We vacationed here from Tucson for several years and enjoyed it so much. We love being on the beautiful Sea of Cortez and the safety of this small town. One day we had the dream of having our own home on the beach. We designed our home for guests and built it over the space of 3 years.

What makes this house unique

We enjoy the changing colors of the ocean and the magnificant sunrises and sunsets which the clear skys and bright stars and planets at night. The air is so clean here and the humidity great for the skin. The water is much warmer than the Pacific here. We swim from March to November. This is a quiet part of Las Conchas. One can really relax here.

First let me say that Ed and Judy are wonderful people. They were very accommodating and the house met all our needs. Clean, nicely kept and plenty of space. The WiFi worked great which enabled us to take care of business on our stay. The location is outstanding and it's just a few minute drive to the Malecon. The beach was clean. The water was warm and relaxing. We spent hours just floating in the water at the sandbar in front of the house. We will definitely be back in the spring. I would highly recommend staying there.

Our wonderful stay at a very nice home ON THE BEACH

My fiance Lisa and I and another couple booked Ed and Judy's home after a few very friendly phone conversations.
When we pulled up we were very pleased with the property and the welcome greeting of Ed and Judy.
This home is in the perfect location of Rocky Point and we couldn't have been any happier.
I'm a GA pilot and the other couple are a Southwest pilot and corporate flight attendant and Ed is a pilot also so we all had lots to talk about and they were the most friendly people of all the VRBO homes we've stayed at around the country.

You can't go wrong with Ed and Judy's wonderful home on the sand.

Excellent Location! Great for Families and Couples

Our family stayed at this home earlier this year and had an incredible time. The home sits on the beach and is very comfortable with three casitas surrounding a courtyard. During our time in Rocky Point we soaked in the sun on the beach, played in the water paddling boarding, kayaking, and making sand castles. We went into town a few nights which is a short drive away and enjoyed some incredible seafood after shopping in the mercado. The casita we stayed in had a nice tv where we could watch movies, full kitchen, and upscale decor. The sunsets are spectacular from the large patios that overlook the ocean. I would recommend Pariso del Mar to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing vacation on the beach.
