Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 7)

Beautiful 3 bedroom oceanfront cabin on 4 acres, sits 50 yards from 310 feet of private beach on quiet Duck Cove on Swans Island , Maine. Modern cabin has 2 small bedrooms with 1 double bed each, a loft with a queen and a twin. One bathroom with separate bath house. Perfect beach to launch kayaks from onto Swans Island's world famous sea kayaking shores. Swans Island is a 40 minute ferry ride off Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and many more fun things to do. From our cabin hike to fresh water swimming at the Quarry Pond, or the crashing waves of Hero Beach. Bicycle friendly island with a newly opened Tea Room and the Fisherman's Coop where you can buy cheap lobster. Watch the windjammers sail by our beach into the working harbor with the Burnt Coat Lighthouse.
About Owner/Manager

Our family has 3 children ages 15, 12 and 8. We live on a farm in Colorado and get to visit Maine for about one week every year.

Owner/Manager purchased this cabin in 2007
Why Owner/Manager chose Swans Island

We found this little island when our youngest child was 6 weeks old. We kind of inherited our little cabin and are also here because we have good friends in Maine.

What makes this cabin unique

We love the quiet, the tide pools and all the beauty of the ocean. We ride bikes, paddle in the ocean and eat lots of sea food.

Swan's Island is a short ferry ride off of Mount Desert Island, ME, home of Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and many more fun things to do for the whole family. Beautiful, picturesque setting overlooking Duck Cove and Marshall Island. Pictures say it all!!!
