Half a block from Beacon Ave where all the interesting shops and amenities are, from the Sidney Museum to cafe's and used book stores.

A short stroll down to the pier for fresh fish or a leisurely walk along the waterfront.

This brand new (April 2012) luxury condo is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Heated bathroom floor. Secure parking. Very large deck with comfy lounge seating and barbeque.

51' plasma T.V., large sectional couch, wi-fi, dvd player and free local phone to give you the comforts of home.

Sidney is only 5 minutes from the airport and the ferries to Vancouver and the Gulf Islands. The Anacortes ferry is a short walk from the condo.

Downtown Victoria and the inner harbour as well as the university of Victoria are all only 30 minutes drive.

Sidney is a friendly small town that has everything you need within walking distance. The main street is lined with flower boxes, benches and ornamental street lighting, which makes Sidney a place you will want to return to.

About The Owner

Born and married in England, we came to Canada in 1975.

We have two children and two grandchildren. We enjoy being in Sidney so much we look forward to bringing in more visitors from around the world.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2012
Why The Owner chose Sidney

After living most of our lives in a northern community of B.C. and having a sister living on the Island, we came across Sidney on one of our many visits and found it so relaxing as you can walk around it so easily along the streets or walking trails. The people are friendly and we feel so at ease there.

What makes this condo unique

The condo is so centrally located that it is a pleasure to walk around town or down to the beach. Bicycles are available for rent just around the corner for those who wish to explore further afield. The streets in Sidney are kept immaculately clean.

We found the unit very well kept and very clean. The location was ideal. We found that during the 2 weeks that we were there, we did not rent a vehicle because everything that we wanted was within walking distance. Everyday we did the sea walk. We wanted a relaxing holiday and that is just what we did. We went for several walks each day and spent time just watching the activities at the waterfront.
The unit was just one block from main street, two blocks from Safeway and three blocks from the ocean, We want to stay in this unit again in thesummer
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Peaceful Retreat

The apt did not disappoint! It is conveniently located just one block from the main shopping area (Beacon Ave). The building is quiet and clean, the unit is beautifully decorated, and all the conveniences are provided (loved the coffee maker). The secure underground parking is also very convenient if you have a car. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance – highly recommend Haro’s at the Sidney Pier Hotel. Beacon Ave is wonderful for strolling and shopping. There are two major grocery stores within walking distance as well. All things considered, the apartment was a perfect place for me to use as a base while I was attending to my family’s health care requirements.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Lovely New Condo - Close to everything

This was our first time on Vancouver Island, our first time using the VRBO site and our experience has been very good. This condo is new, very nice,has high end furniture and is very well equipped. It looks just like the pictures. We found it quiet and esspecally nice having morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the large balcony. The location is great, 2-3 blocks from everything you need, includiong public transit, so a car is not necessary if you want to just enjoy what Sidney and the surrounding area has to offer. We did visit the Butchard Gardens, downtown Victoria as well as some winery tastings. There are some great restaurants to choose from, one in which we enjoyed twice during our stay was Bistro Swiss, it's on Beacon Street....great Schnitzel. The owners Ken and Kathy were very pleasant and offered some good info about the area. All in all we had a great time and a very comfortable stay. We will definately be back and would highly reccommend this condo to our family and friends.
